Last moth I spent 10 days in Benidorm, Spain. I thought I would do a little post on my Hotel which was the Servigroup’s Pueblo Hotel. My family chose the hotel as it was in a central location to the “main strip”. I’m not too sure been in all the action was a good thing as it seem to attract a lot of stag and hen parties to the hotel.
So, back to the start! We arrived quite late evening and checked – in quickly and we were informed a cold buffet had been put on for guests arriving later. We didn’t actually check it out but it was pretty good they did this for late comers.
We had previously contacted the hotel about staying in the main building after hearing reviews on it being less noisy and more convenient. Aside from the main building they have little blocks of rooms. The reception knew about our request and put us on the second floor in the main building.
The rooms were nice and tidy and the cleaners did a very thorough job each day. The rooms came with a TV which had BBC and ITV – I may have watched Jeremy Kyle once or twice 😉 – There was also free Wi-Fi which was quite fast in the room, not so much in the pool area.
The view from our balcony was a little disappointing with it just been the roof of the restaurant but it was a good place to sunbathe though with most of the day in the sun.
There was 2 large outdoor pools, an indoor pool and a children’s pool with entertainment throughout the day with activities such as water aerobics and kids club games. There was always something happening and also in the evenings they had shows.
I didn’t take any photo’s of the food but it was good, we did eat out on a few occasions though. Although there was a theme of each night, it all seemed quite repetitive. I did get very excited over the Roast Beef, which was lovely. The hotel was lovely on a whole but the only downside was having a lot of rowdy stag and hen groups around!
