Fashion: River Island & Grabble Party

A couple of weeks ago, I headed down to London for a day in the big smoke with Becca from Fashion Train. We planned to have a mooch round the shops on Oxford Street, Visit River Island’s High Summer Press Day and then head to Grabble’s Party with Andy Jordan.

I didn’t take too many photo’s so I thought I would put it all in one big post. The River Island Press Day had lot’s of gorgeous items in for this summer including a couple of pastel versions of the fluffy bag which i mentioned in their A/W14 Press Day. I’m still in love with them and I’m edging towards the lilac one.

We obviously had our obligatory browse round the mothership that is Topshop. I came away with nothing but nearly was £350 out of pocked as I was oh-so-tempted by the light-up Ashish platforms. We then met up with Becca’s cousin Charlie and my friend Liv and headed to The Hoxton Hotel for the Grabble Party.

If you don’t know, Grabble is an online shopping platform where you can grab what you want to buy and make little collections. The party was to celebrate the launch of their new-look website, and they partnered up with Andy Jordan’s label Jam Industries.

Andy was there and even sang a couple of tunes. The evening was absolutely lovely and I got to meet some lovely bloggers.

It was an amazing event, and I’m so gutted I didn’t take more photos!

XOXO
