Fashion: River Island AW14 Press Day
The other week I popped along to the River Island AW14 Press Day. I’m a big fan of the brand so I was quite excited to be getting a sneak peak at the new season.
The one thing that really stood out in the new collection was the insane amount of faux-fur. It was everywhere, so many fur jackets, fur trims on dresses, on shoes and my favourite – fluffy bags! Amongst the faux fur was lot’s of snake print, hounds-tooth and some gorgeous jewellery.
I’m completely in love with these handbags and they will be on the top of my wishlist next season. I love how the pastel trend developed into Autumn/Winter! Let’s hope it doesn’t rain with these bags!
There was lot’s of faux fur coats which looked amazing on the mannequins – not sure I could personally pull off this look. Very Diva! There was also even pink fur jackets!
Lot’s of bling and statement jewellery!
I really liked the collection and there was a few bits and pieces that I know will be on my wishlist! I can’t wait to see it in stores – especially so I can get my hands on those fluffy bags (I’m so obbsessed!).
River Island has really stepped up their game recently! I have loved their past few collections and it looks like this will be no different. Loving the faux fur coat and those bags!

I'm not really feeling a lot of these items but faux fur has never really been my thing. The jewellery is grabbing my attention though.

Those River Island bags are just too gorgeous – love a bit of fluff! And I have my eye on that faux fur coat! Can't beat a fur coat in the winter.
