Catwalk to Cover – A Front Row Seat at the Fashion & Textiles Museum.

Whilst i was in London, we visited the Fashion & Textile Museum and saw the ‘Catwalk to Cover – A Front Row Seat’ exhibition. The entry cost was £5 for students and the museum is located in the Southwark area near the London dungeons. I really enjoyed the exhibition, it was basically a collection of amazing photographs took by Kristin Sinclair. There was photos of Street Style, The Shows, Backstage, Designers, Front Row and Editors. I got to see some amazing shots of Alexander McQueen, Chanel and loads more shows. There was also a collection of some of the garments featured in the photo’s. I bought a book with all the photos in from the gift shop for £20 and it was signed by Kristen Sinclair (Photo Below).Whilst there we also saw some Jil Sander interns making something for the 2012 Olympics!

The left outfit is Vivienne Westwood.

I can remember that the ivory dress is Paco Robane and the middle is Donna Karen.

Not the best photo but there was a wall of front row shots, it looked amazing.

Backstage beauty shots.

The signed book by Kristen Sinclair (Can be bought off amazon here)
