A Stay at Radisson Blu Manchester Airport*
*This is a collaboration with Radisson Blu Hotels
There’s no better way to kick start an exciting holiday than a relaxing hotel stay at the airport with a few glasses of bubbly. Along with the knowledge that you are just minutes away from the terminals. On my recent trip to Florida, we were flying from Manchester Airport and the night before we stayed at the Radisson Blu Manchester Airport Hotel.
I’ve seen the Radisson Blu Manchester Airport Hotel many times on my travels as it’s located INSIDE the airport. When walking between the terminals and train station, you will find the hotel on the skywalk. Our flight was departing from Terminal 2 which was minutes away and super convenient to get to.
On arrival, we actually arrived via a Uber before swiftly checking in. During our stay at the Radisson Blu Manchester Airport Hotel, we were in an executive room with a runway view! Sadly, it was already dark but we still managed to see lots of plans zipping about.
The room was spacious and had everything we needed including a view! We had such a clear view of the runway and could enjoy it from our super spacious super king bed. The room was complete with robes, a coffee machine, rainfall shower and luxe amenities. It was an excellent space to unwind and prepare for our upcoming flight. There was plenty of floor space to arrange our suitcases too!

With our executive room, we had access to the executive lounge which served drinks and snacks complimentary between the hours of 6.30pm and 9pm. Here you can relax with a runway view with complimentary snacks and drinks. We did go in quite late in evening but there was some tasty cakes and treats which were delicious. I tried the chocolate cake which was so fluffy and rich. There were alcoholic beverages available alongside a coffee machine and soft drinks.
My favourite spot in the lounge was the individual chairs facing the window where you could even put your feet up on a foot stool. Perfect for a glass of vino and a chance to watch a few planes take off. The executive lounge also offers a range of newspapers and magazines.
The Radisson Blu Manchester Airport Hotel is also home to the Collage Restaurant, a bistro serving delicious meals with runway views and also the Little M Bar which also offers food but a little more casual. We ended up in Little M for a drink and some snacks. I’ve got to say that its interior was so cool with nods to Manchester all around the bar.
It’s also worth mentioning that the Radisson Blu Manchester Airport Hotel has a swimming pool and fitness centre. I just wish we had more time to explore all of this. A quick swim would certainly have got us in the holiday mood!
We had a great night sleep, aside from realising my visa had ran out two months earlier! Thankfully, I managed to get it sorted – phew! The bed was so spacious and comfortable and after all the drama, a good nights sleep was had.

Breakfast was included in our stay which was at the Collage Restaurant and I’ve got to say this was one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve had! There was everything you could think of from pastries, fruit, smoothies, waffles, pancakes and a full cooked selection. We were truly spoilt for choice to the point where I didn’t know where to start. I did go for a cooked breakfast whilst indulging in some cookies, pastries and fruit afterwards.

We did make a quick pit stop in the executive lounge for a quick hot chocolate to enjoy on the go. We sat and watched the planes for a good ten minutes and we actually had the whole place to ourselves so it was so peaceful. There was also pastries to enjoy in the lounge too, it just seems that they have 100% nailed the relaxing customer experience. There is everything you could want and an excellent way to kick off a holiday.
It was time to check out and be on our way to our flight. We flew from Terminal 2 and it was such a short walk via the sky tunnel. For context we left our hotel room at 8am, checked out, walked to the terminal, dropped bags and through security within 15 minutes! Obviously, it helps when the terminal isn’t too busy but the hotel being so close is such a perk!
Not only is this hotel super convenient for being literally IN the airport, the hotel doesn’t compromise on quality with it having a luxe feel. We felt like we’d kicked off the holiday in a super special way and loved our stay at the Radisson Blu Manchester Airport Hotel.
XOXO
