The Steak & Wine Menu at The Lost & Found, Leeds Club
Steak & Wine has got to be one of my favourite combos. Let’s be honest, that is my ideal evening for date night. When The Lost & Found got in touch to let me know they had a brand new Steak & Wine menu, I knew myself and Stefan had to go try it out. We arranged our visit to The Lost & Found, Leeds Club which is located on Albion Place right in the heart of the city centre. The date we arrange for was also Leeds Light Night so we managed to check out some of the illuminated light installations too before heading to the restaurant.

The Steak & Wine menu includes three courses and a glass of either white or red house wine for £27.50 which is pretty good value for money. We were seated on the ground floor by the bar and it’s such a lovely venue. The room had an illuminated tree as the centre piece, which set a lovely ambiance. Once we got a glass of wine, it was time for food!

To start the three courses off I got the beef ragu and mozzarella arancini and Stefan got the Glazed Lamb Ribs. To be honest, we split both dishes so we both could have a bit of both! The arancini was served with a truffle and Madeira mayonnaise, although they were delicious, the lamb stole the show for me. The slow cooked lamb was in a soy glaze and something I’d definitely want to order again.

Onto the mains and of course, we both got steak. Obviously it’s a steak menu so we had the choice of 8oz sirloin or a 8oz fillet steak (for a £6 supplement). Stefan and I both got the 8oz sirloin steak which was served with triple cooked chips and buttermilk onion rings. I also got the peppercorn sauce and Stefan got the black truffle butter – again we did split these to try both and I was a huge fan of the black truffle butter. The steak was cooked to perfection, we ordered to be served medium and it was full of flavour and just so delicious.

Finally, for dessert I got the warm chocolate cake which was utterly divine. This really was so delicious and really topped off the meal perfectly. The warm chocolate cake was served with a sesame biscuit which to be honest I wasn’t a huge fan of. However, the malted ice cream made up for it. Stefan got the banana & miso caramel bomb which had banana ice cream inside of a chocolate bomb which was served with a miso banana sauce. Honestly, you can never go wrong with a chocolate bomb dessert. A top tier choice from Stefan.
Overall, we loved visiting The Lost & Found and thought the Steak & Wine menu was excellent. Three courses with wine for £27.50 in my opinion, is great value. It’s an excellent option for date night or even just a catching up with friends over good food. We certainly will be back!
XOXO
*My visit to The Lost & Found to try the Steak & Wine menu was complimentary. All thoughts and opinions are honest.

It looks lovely, I know my chap would enjoy it but unfortunately it doesn’t look like they had any vegetarian alternatives for those of us who are just accompanying the carnivores? Lol. Xx
They have a full menu running alongside this one, worth checking out 🙂 x
