Rediscovering Old Beauty Favourites with Estee Lauder
It’s so easy to get caught up in what’s new in the beauty world that you can easily forget about old favourites. I’m guilty of hoarding quite the beauty collection whilst only usually using my latest finds. A few weeks ago, I was prepping for a fancy event where I actually did a test run for my make-up. I ended up fishing out the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. Whilst I was obsessed with this foundation when I first got my hands on it, It’s been a minute since I last used it. I wanted to share my thoughts on it.
Whilst I know a lot of people nowadays are reaching for tinted moisturisers, CC Creams and lighter coverage foundations. However, if you are attending a special event or special occasion this foundation is perfect. It photographs so well, it’s full coverage and long lasting. This is also an excellent foundation with SPF which is always good to have an added SPF in your beauty routine.
As I said, the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation has excellent coverage. I’ve popped some pictures below so you can see how well it looks to the photographed. I found that it stayed in place like promised on the bottle. The shade i wear is Ecru which is pretty much the perfect match for me at the moment. I know this is an old favourite amongst the beauty community but I do urge you to rediscover this product if it’s gotten a little lost in your collection like mine. I’m also intrigued to actually try the Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer. I’m sure it would also be great coverage.
