Mother's Day Gift Guide 2022

It’s that time of the year again, Mother’s Day is just around the corner. Whether you are purchasing for your Mum, Grandma or even Auntie; I’m hoping I’ve listed a few things which will give you a bit of inspiration. It’s the best time to show how much you appreciate your Mum with a lovely little treat. I’m celebrating with my Mum a week early, obviously with a good ol’ Sunday Roast.

You can’t beat picking up a new pair of slippers for your Mum. This is a classic gift which is going to earn you some brownie points. Bedroom Athletics have currently got some amazing deals on their slippers including lots of super fluffy ones! I’ve picked out the Bethany Suede Mule Slippers which are unbelievably soft and cosy inside. They are a snip of a bargain compared to some other brands which produce similar slippers. These are in the shade Mink but they come in other colours such as blush pink, peacock navy and pale grey. As I said you can never go wrong with new slippers for your Mum!

Arran of Scotland is the place to go for all things Bath & Body. Made and inspired by the Isle of Arran, the collections are quintessentially capturing the true essence of Scotland. I’ve been a big fan of Arran of Scotland for a few years and they have some wonderful gift sets which make excellent presents. So much though has been put into the products and they always come in the most amazing packaging. I’ve got the After the Rain Fragrance which has notes of lime, rose and sandalwood. It’s a very fresh and floral fragrance and feels so luxe with the bottle and wooden cap. I’m a big fan of this scent, it’s perfect for everyday use yet it does feel special. The After the Rain collection was inspired by the founders desire to capture the scent of an Arran garden after rainfall.

Gin always makes a good present doesn’t it? No matter who it’s for, Gin will always be well received. However, MOM Gin certainly is a great option for Mother’s Day. Branded as Queen of the gins, it’s one worth trying. This triple pack includes the MOM God save the Gin, MOM love Gin & MOM rocks gin. Whilst MOM Rocks is more zesty and would be best paired with a lime, the MOM Love is a premium pink gin best served with strawberries. God Save the Gin has a very berry flavour and can be served with cherries. This trio pack is pretty good as you’re getting three tastes of a premium gin all with different flavourings that sound pretty amazing.

Mother’s Day is a great time to buy your Mum a gift to encourage relaxing, taking a break and having a pamper session. I’m sure most Mum’s will be huge fans of taking a relaxing break and enjoying some self-care. Westlab have these SLEEP bath salts which are 100% natural and help the body and mind wind down for the evening and prepare yourself for sleep. This sounds like an excellent self-care present to relax the mind. These bath salts include jasmine and lavender essentials oils to calm and soothe.

Another place to seek inspiration for products to help mama’s relax and wind down would be on the Echor website.
