Festive Gift Guide 2021: For Her

The Festive Gift Guides are back! They have been slightly delayed this year due to my trip to New York and then I’ve been poorly for the last couple of weeks. Have no fear, we still have time to get those gifts before the big day. I don’t know about you but I’ve been so unprepared with buying gifts for loved ones this year so hopefully, this guide will give you a few ideas. We are starting off the Gift Guide with some excellent ideas on what to buy the ladies in your life. So whether that’s your sister, Mum, Grandma or Auntie – Hopefully, there are some ideas for everyone to enjoy.

Starting off with some Gin, because who wouldn’t love a bottle of Gin this Christmas. As you’ll probably know there is 100’s of different gins now on the market. Probably too much choice! We do love collecting and trying different Gins so I wanted to include something a little bit outside of the box. I’ve got the Vara Gin from the Deerness Distillery. This is a luxury pink gin with citrus undertones. It goes perfectly with an elderflower tonic or even lemonade. The Vara Gin is available in a large 70cl bottle or a smaller bottle accompanied with mixers in a hamper.

I’m a huge fan of the Aaran Sense of Scotland products. They had a pretty amazing advent calendar this year filled with bath and body treats. I thought I’d include the Hydrating Hand Cream Trio from their popular  After the Rain collection. This would be a great gift for those who love their smellies. This will be perfect for my Grandma who loves her hand creams.

I also wanted to include a few books in this gift guide as there are usually some great releases around Christmas. I don’t read as much as I would like to but I always try to take part in the yearly reading challenge. I’d like to confirm, I’ve firmly failed this years. However, I thought I would include some great books which would make a great gift for the ladies in your life. First up, we have the Stacey Solomon, Tap to Tidy book which has so many organisation and tidying tips. I know there’s a few people who love following her on Instagram and seeing her renovate Pickle Cottage. If you love her Instagram, you’ll love reading this book.

Also, on my reading radar, this Christmas is the new release from Giovanna Fletcher’s latest novel Walking on Sunshine which is a Sunday Times Bestseller. I love her books, so I’m sure this one will be another excellent read. Finally, for any fans of the show Schitt’s Creek, they have just released The Story of Schitt’s Creek titled Best Wishes, Warmest Regards. This one is on top of my Christmas list.

I also wanted to include these adorable Christmas Decorations I picked up from Paperchase the other day. They would make a great stocking filler for any member of the family and they are some of the best quality alphabet/initial ones I’ve come across. These ones were £6 each but the Christmas Decorations are currently 3 for 2 in Paperchase so you can basically get three for £12.

Of course, I have to include a few things from Monica Vinader. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know I am a #MVInsider and you can get 20% off your next purchase with the code ‘MVINSIDER19-2B15’. The quality of Monica Vinader is amazing and I’m not going to lie, I’m obsessed with the rings. However, I’ve picked these two items from the Riva Collection which I think would make a lovely gift for the lady in your life. The ring is a firm favourite of mine but I do lovely the simplicity of the bracelet. It can be worn on its own or stacked with a few others.

Christmas is the perfect time to buy your loved ones indulgent gifts. Who doesn’t want the gift of some luxury pampering goodies from Temple Spa? The My Essence Uplifting Body Duo Set would be the perfect gift set for someone who loves a little pamper session. This duo is formulated with energising and confidence-boosting Mediterranean botanicals and includes a shower cream and body lotion.

Candles are always a good shout for gifts at Christmas. We all know I’m a little bit of a candle hoarder, I love a good festive candle too! I recently did a post about whether Diptyque Candles are worth the hype. The long and the short of it is that they are pretty expensive but they are a pretty amazing luxury piece. The quality is amazing and if you are wanting to treat someone this Christmas, a Diptyque candle would be excellent. I also want to mention The Yorkshire Candle Company which sell hand-poured candles inspired by Yorkshire locations including my hometown. I think they are amazing and would make great gifts for Yorkshire lovers like many members of my family.

Silk gifts are becoming more and more popular. I picked up these Kitsch pro satin sleep scrunchies a few weeks ago and I’ve been loving them. Using silk on your hair is so much better than using regular hair bobbles as it can really help the condition of your hair and stop any breakages.

I also wanted to add in a cute Kate Spade Airpods Case. I got a pair of Airpods last year and although having a case isn’t exactly necessary, you can get some really cute ones. The case above, I actually found at the Designer Outlet for around £15! However, there are some amazing ones on the Kate Spade website including an I heart NYC one!

Is there any better feeling than a spa day? How about a spa day at home. No Secrets beauty have some amazing at-home spa gift sets where you can relax and pamper from your own bathroom. Let me tell you these products smell insane. I just love that spa scent, you instantly feel relaxed. This set also includes candles, bath jelly and hand cream. These formulas are so rich and luxurious but they are all-natural and made from plants and natural sources.

I couldn’t not include some tasty treats in this Gift Guide. NOMO are great for those who can’t eat dairy or nuts as they are free from a lot of the usual things in chocolate bars. NOMO is also vegan, however, they are super delicious. I’ve been enjoying the caramel & sea salt buttons which are utterly divine. These are great if you have a family member who is vegan or has intolerances and still want to enjoy some delicious treats without missing out.
