First Impressions of the Olaplex No7 Bonding Oil
We all know how much I love Olaplex! I’ve done a post all about using the well-loved No3 Hair Perfector and the Shampoo and Conditioner. Those three products have been the ultimate staples in my haircare routine for the last 18 months or so. However, when I was browsing Notino a few weeks ago, I thought it was about time to try something new from the Olaplex UK line.

There is actually nine products in the Olaplex line including a purple shampoo (which for obvious reasons you won’t be getting a review from me) and their new Moisture Mask (which I still really want to try!) However, I picked up the Olaplex No7 Bonding Oil. The bottle is 30ml and I’d say this will last you quite a while. A little goes a long way with this product. I’m not particularly fond of oils in general for fear of making my hair look greasy but I’ve been giving No7 a try and I’ve got to say I’m impressed!

The Olaplex No7 Bonding Oil works on the hair to repair the hair strength whilst also helping minimise frizz. I’ve been using the bonding oil with wet hair after washing my hair using the Olaplex No3, No4 & No5 products and have found that my hair is ever so soft and smooth. The bonding oil has UV/heat protection of up to 450°F/232°C so this is excellent to use when drying my hair and knowing it will be protected. Obviously, I said my main concern with using oils is that my hair can appear greasy and this is something I’ve not had a problem with. It’s left my hair frizz-free, shiny and smooth. Shiny in a good way.
The No7 Bonding Oil has been welcomed into my Olaplex haircare routine with open arms. I’m very pleased. Are there any products by Olaplex which I don’t love? I’m hoping to try the Intense Moisture Hair Mask next! Stay tuned!
Have you used any Olaplex products before?
