Festive Gift Guide: For Her 2020

It’s time for another Festive Gift Guide, only a couple more to go! Today’s is for the ladies in your life whether you are looking for your Mum, Sister, Aunt or Grandma – I’ve tried to cover something for everyone. It’s not long to go now before the big day so if you’ve not got your presents bought, now is the time to start thinking about it! First up we’ve got the Edinburgh Gin & Candle gift set. What’s not to love, Gin & Candles?! Basically my two favourite things. This Giftset includes the Raspberry Gin Liqueur and a Raspberry scented candle. It’s available from Sainsbury’s and would make a great gift for any gin lovers in your life or even just for a secret Santa. I love Edinburgh Gin so I think this is fabulous.

You can never go wrong with perfumes for gifts. I have to admit, I have gone a little overboard with buying people fragrances this Christmas. There are some amazing scents and also some great deals floating about. I’ve recently been trying out a few scents from Versace including the Dylan Blue Eau De Parfum and Versace Bright Crystal. They are both lovely scents but you can also pick up some mini Versace scents which is a great way to try them! The mini ones are also really great for carrying about in your bag!

I also wanted to include a book in today’s gift guide. There have been so many autobiographies published this year but there was one fiction novel. I was rather excited about; Christmas Shopaholic. I’m a huge fan of Sophie Kinsella’s books, they are hilarious and I particularly love the Shopaholic series. Other great books I would suggest is Caroline Hirons’ Skincare book, Mrs Hinch’s Memoir & Sh**ged. Married. Annoyed by The Ramsays.

For some cute hair accessories, look no further than Only Curls. These would be perfect for your best friend or sister. I absolutely love these tortoiseshell hair clips, they’d make a great statement piece for a side parting. Also, another item I am loving right now is the Satin Sleep Turban which keeps curls intact and also reduces frizziness!

It’s the law to have new PJ’s at Christmas, isn’t it? Tog 24 actually have a large selection of loungewear ranging from slippers to Pyjamas. I’ve picked up the Snuggle Women’s PJ set which has raspberry flannel pants. I think this will make a great gift for my Mum or even for friends, sisters or Aunts. They look so cosy and even come in a little drawstring bag. At the moment, Tog24 have some great reductions so get bargain hunting!

As I said before, Candles make an excellent gift. Most women love a great smelling home scent, especially at Christmas time. I’m not going to lie, I’ve gone a little overboard this year. Yankee Candle has some great Christmas scents and they actually have loads of different gift sets too. The one above is a duo set of Medium Christmas Candles in the scent of Unwrap the Magic and Singing Carols. The Medium candles are actually such a decent size and burn up to 75 hours!

I’m quite excited to be including this next gift. I know calendars and diaries are something that creep on a lot of Christmas Lists. I absolutely love a good diary and to stay organised which is why I absolutely love the She Did Collective Mindset is Everything Planner. This is a daily planner but you’re not restricted to any dates. You can see above the daily pages where you can write in what you are grateful for, daily achievements and goals. I think this will be an excellent gift for anyone who loves making lists and staying organised. The planner is leather-bound and comes beautifully presented in a box with a little pen.

Daisy London is one of my favourite Jewellery brands at the moment. Especially the collaboration with Estee Lalonde, there are such beautiful pieces at the moment. I have a few necklaces now from Daisy London and I’ve found that the quality is outstanding. The collection comes in both Gold and Silver with so many pretty designs. I think they’ve just launched a few new pieces which I’m currently lusting after. Any boyfriends reading this, Daisy London pieces would make an excellent gift for your other half. The necklace above is the Interlock Chain Necklace in Sterling Silver. It’s a piece that can be worn with the lock at the front or the back and it really is just a simple but gorgeous piece!

If you’re really struggling to buy something this Christmas, a gift card can also be a great idea. That way the recipient can buy whatever they want with it. The Voucher Express Gift Card is a great one as it can be spent in many different high street stores, including M&S, Selfridges, John Lewis and best of all, IKEA! We’re hopefully buying a house early next year so this would make a great gift as it would go towards house things! Otherwise, it’s a great gift for those whom you know like to pick their own things out!

Moving on to a few homeware things. Red Candy is a brand you need a check out if you know someone who loves unique and quirky homeware pieces. They have something for everyone including kitchen and bathroom accessories. There is so much on their website which would make an excellent gift for who love their interiors. I’ve picked out this Peachy Clean Bath Mat and I thought it looked cute. It’s one of those unique pieces which would make your bathroom decor a little fun. I’d recommend having a browse on the Red Candy website as I’m sure you’ll be able to find lots of gift ideas!

There is so much Friends merchandise about at the moment. From the Make-Up Revolution collection to cute PJs in Primark – as a Friends fan, I’m in my element. Prezzybox has a whole host of Friends themed gifts, and the best thing is that a lot of them can be personalised. This Friends Cushion has a lot of familiar items from the series on and you can get it personalised! A few other favourites from Prezzybox are the Friends Blankets and Friends Hand Sanitiser (how 2020?!).

For the baking lovers, VonHaus has a range of kitchen accessories which will help any budding baker excel in the kitchen. From hand whisks like the one above or ice cream makers, there is something for everyone. There might be a few more budding bakers after lockdown, even I tried my hand at cookies and cakes, which I know would have been so much easier with a hand whisk!

Another personalised treat from Prezzybox. We’ve got this Hun Wine Giftset which features three premium South African wines. Hun wine is also the UK’s first fair trade canned wine and I think this is such a great idea for friends who love Wine O’clock! You can personalise the box to have whatever message you want and address it to a certain person!

If you’ve seen my previous Festive Gift Guide: For Him, you’ll have seen the new Abercrombie & Fitch fragrances. The First Instinct Together scents are available for both him and her and can be purchased from Fragrance Direct. The ladies’ perfume has a strong scent of pineapple, peony and notes of sandalwood, musk and amber.

As I’ve said a million times now, I love a good personalised gift. A brand which I’ve just discovered has some amazing, unique personalised gifts. Proper Goose has a range of wooden gifts which you can personalise with photos and messages. There’s a range of letterbox gifts, Christmas-themed gifts or just ones which you can show off some of your favourite images. I love these photo tokens where you can have some of your favourite memories printed on wooden blocks, and they come in a cute little tin. They also do little wooden gift tickets, which is great if you’ve purchased tickets to a concert and you’ve got nothing physical to hand over on Christmas day.

It’s not a Festive Gift Guide without mentioning chocolate. You’ll be familiar with your traditional selection boxes, but I’m pretty sure this Lindt Lindor Selection Box is the elite of all Selection Boxes. Featuring some of my favourite Lindor chocolates, you can’t go far wrong with picking up this selection box for any chocolate lover in your life.
