Choosing the right Glasses
Over the last couple of years, I did that really naughty thing of putting off going to the opticians to get my eyes tested. As someone who works constantly on their laptop, I have noticed a slight deterioration in my eyesight. I’ve been forever squinting at screens so it was time to get my eyes tested. I’m not sure why I had been putting it off for so long as it’s not really a big deal but it’s official, I need glasses. As well as glasses been helpful with your sight, they can actually make a fashion statement so it poses the question, how do you choose the right pair of glasses?
There are so many things to factor in when it comes to choosing the right pair. I’ve been searching on Misterspex for inspiration, they carry a whole host of different brands and styles of glasses alongside a wide selection of contact lenses. Although it’s great to have contact lenses in so you don’t have to wear glasses, I don’t think I’d be able to faff putting them in and out. However, with the glasses, I’m absolutely spoiled for choice on Misterspex. I thought I would share some of my favourite styles which I’ve been eyeing up.

ROUND GLASSES
Whenever I think about Round Glasses, the first thing that comes to mind is Harry Potter. He’s a pretty famous spectacle wearer but throughout the films, he always sported those famous round spectacles. I’m not 100% that look would be ideal for me but I’ve come across some stunning rounded styles. These Calvin Klein glasses are stunning and I actually have tried on something similar which I loved. The round glasses really complimented my face.
CAT EYE GLASSES
The Cat Eye style has always been a favourite shape of mine when it comes to shades. I love how much of a diva the accentuated frames can make you feel. I don’t think this shape suits everyone but you can use the try-on virtually tool to see what they look like right away. Another great thing about Misterspex is that you can try before you buy, you can keep the glasses for up to 10 days to try on at home before being charged.

SQUARE GLASSES
I think out of all the styles, a square shape is my favourite. These Burberry glasses are calling my name. Although the frame is quite thick, I love the iconic Burberry design on the sides. This pair is where you can really make a fashion statement. I actually tried these on the virtual try-on and they didn’t look half bad at all. These could be a serious contender for me as I do love the Burberry design.
Misterspex also carry a range of sunglasses and we all know how much I love sunglasses. I have a pretty large selection and I’m already planning on taking an excessive amount of pairs for my next trip. You need a pair for each outfit, right? There are some gorgeous styles on the website including brands such as Tom Ford, Ray-Ban and Fendi.
Are you a glasses wearer? Do you have a favourite style?
XOXO
