My End of Year Goals
Can you believe it’s October already? With only a couple of months left of 2019, I thought it would be time to reflect and set some goals for the end of the year. I always find that this time of the year, going back to school is a good time for a fresh start. This year seems to have gone so quickly and whilst I’ve achieved quite a lot already in 2019, there are a few goals I have to tick off before ringing in 2020.

Get back into Fitness
At the start of the year, I did the very cliché thing of joining the gym. Typically, I only lasted around three months. Once I’d been on my holiday to Greece, which essentially was my end goal, I completely skipped the gym. However, I do really want to incorporate some sort of exercise into my daily life. The last couple of weeks I’ve not been too well, but I think it’s time to start something, whether that’s re-joining the gym, going for a run on the beach or taking a class such as Pilates or yoga. I’ve also had a look at gymnastics mats so I can exercise at home and save some money.

Travel Planning
As always, I’m looking to make some travel plans. I’m hoping to make a few Christmas market trips in November and December. Edinburgh and London are definitely on the cards but I’d love to go somewhere like Bruges. We have also just booked a huge trip back to America, where we will be visiting New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Francisco. As I’m a huge planner, my goal is to really sort out planning the ins and outs of this trip and create an incredible itinerary. I have been to these places before, but Stefan hasn’t, so I’m really eager to ensure we visit all the highlights. Let me know if you have any recommendations for these places, though!
Money-Saving
As we do have this big trip coming up, money-saving is high on the agenda. Over the next couple of months, I’m going to try to be really conscious about cutting back on eating out and eliminating unnecessary purchases. I’m pretty good at saving money but its takeaways and eating out that catch me out!
Blog Growth & Reaching 10k
Every year, I do try to set some goals for my blog. It’s always good to see growth and development. I’m really going to be focusing on my blog and creating some amazing content over the next couple of months. Especially in the lead-up to Christmas, which is my favourite time for content creation, I want to make sure there will be some great posts coming up.
Finally, I thought I would do a little plug as my main goal in relation to my blog is to reach 10k on Instagram. At the beginning of the year, it seemed so far away but I feel like by the end of 2019, we might finally get there (& finally get that swipe up feature). If you want to give me a follow, you can find my Instagram page here.
So let’s make these next three months count and reach for our goals. Do you have any end of year goals?
XOXO

I really need to set some specific end of year goals as I’ve plateaued a lot! I just want to get to the end of the year without being in financial ruin and sticking in the same job which I don’t think is *too* much to ask! Would deffo recommend getting a yoga mat for home, I use mine a surprising amount and there are tonnes of good videos on YouTube – Cat Meffan is ace 🙂 Lx
Good luck on your goals! I also wanted to reach 10K by the end of the year – so far, I am on 2.6K lol. Hopefully you will have better luck than me!
