There’s nothing better than finding skincare items that really work for you. I certainly wouldn’t call myself a skincare expert but I’ve got a few items I couldn’t live without. Ideally, I try and find products which are going to give me a subtle glow, fight anti-redness and keep me hydrated. These are just my top five products which I couldn’t live without.
Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream
The Ultra Facial Cream by Kiehl’s has been a firm favourite in my skincare stash for a couple of years. This is probably the best facial moisturiser that I’ve tried throughout the years. With extracts of Glacial Glycoproteins and Desert Plants, it leaves your skin feeling so hydrated and fresh. I even have a little pot which I carry around in my handbag, I really cannot live without this product.
Caudalie Beauty Elixir
The Beauty Elixir is a product that I picked up in Paris on a massive skincare haul. I do love a good French Pharmacy and there’s one in Saint Germain on Rue De Four in Paris which is actually a discounted store. People go absolutely crazy for that store as there are some amazing bargains. Caudalie Beauty Elixir can actually be bought in the UK though and it’s not too expensive. This facial spray is a key part of my skincare routine before applying moisturiser. I also apply during the day to keep my face feeling radiant and refreshed.
Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Oil
Another Kiehl’s product that I couldn’t live without is the Midnight Recovery Oil. It’s one of those staple items which should be in everyone’s evening routine. I wasn’t too familiar with oils until I was introduced to this product and I immediately saw such a difference when I first started using this. Not only does this keep my skin pretty radiant, there are ingredients in this oil which can help you sleep. There are quite a few products in the Midnight Recovery collection which I really do need to try in the future.
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye
I’ve never really been into eye creams but my goodness, recently I’ve needed all the help I can get. My dark circles are getting worse and worse. I’ve started using the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Cream which mainly targets anti-ageing but I find that it’s a really refreshing product and leaves me looking slightly more alive. It’s a great all rounder product!
La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo
I’m really lucky with my skin and usually don’t get too many breakouts but when I do it’s La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo to the rescue. I apply this on the morning and evening on affected areas and it honestly works wonders. The solution is supposed to reduce imperfections and unclogs pores but it’s great for spots. This is a product I definitely couldn’t live without, I’ve not come across anything else which has worked as well.
Taking care of your skin is obviously so important and choosing the right items to use can really help your complexion in the long run. At the moment, my main aim is to have radiant, refreshed skin but it’s also good to get started early on reducing fine lines and wrinkles. I’m always looking for new skincare products to try and the Rehydrating Rose Collection from Neals Yard Remedies has really caught my eye. Can you imagine how good the products would all smell? Neals Yard Remedies use natural and organic ingredients so there’s nothing to worry about when using the products. I’m going to visit my local store in York later this week and check out some products. Do you have any NYR recommendations?
Have you tried any of these skincare products? What items can you not live without?
