A Step In a New Direction

A step in a new direction with NCC Home Learning - Rachel Nicole UK Blogger

It’s crazy to think that it’s now been a year since finishing my degree. I’ve really been thinking about the past year and although I’ve not gone on to get that graduate job, I’m super lucky that I can be a full-time blogger and do something that I am passionate about. I’m sure I’m not alone when I’ve experience the questions about getting a ‘real job’ but looking back on the past year, I’ve done some amazing things and achieved so much. It’s now time to take a move in a new direction; Home Learning!

As part of my degree which was in Fashion Business and Promotion, we did a module on events which was the highlight of my three years – I’ve looked into studying with the NCC Home Learning and doing a course in Event Management. The course will cover twelve modules over 200 hours with full tutor support. I love that you need no previous experience. Even though I did it at University, this course will offer my a diploma in the specialised subject. It’s also super flexible meaning I can work round my blogging and travelling which is brilliant for my lifestyle. I’ll be keeping you all up to date on here and social media with how I am getting on but I am so excited to be venturing down a new path.

I’ll also be making a couple of changes in terms of my blog. I’m eventually going to make the change from Blogger to WordPress and hopefully have a little re-vamp. My mission to publish weekly YouTube videos is back on and I’m going to be featuring more Travel content.
Have you studied from home? What’s your experience? What would you like to see on Rachel Nicole?
XOXO

  1. Aw it is great that you have become a full time blogger. Do you have any tips because at the moment I am working several jobs to manage alongside blogging 4-5/6 times a week.

  2. WOW that event management course sounds fantastic. It's something I've always be interested in but never got round to looking into but I would LOVE to take on something like that in my own time – incredible that you get a diploma when you're finished. I'd love to have done something similar, but with already doing my teaching assistant course it would of been a nightmare! Maybe next year. :p
