It got me thinking about how to stay motivated and focused on achieving greatness and I have compiled a couple of tips for you guys. Whether it’s keeping motivated with studying, blogging, fitness or in your career, It can really be a struggle. I know a lot of people are working on their dissertations at the moment and motivation is really hard to come by – I feel your pain, I was there last year. .
1. Start Today, Not Tommorrow – It’s easy to sit back and say I’ll start on that tomorrow, I am completely guilty of this but let’s be honest 9 times out of 10 you won’t start tomorrow either. Make a plan and get cracking with it. There is no better time than the present.
2. Keep Focused – Try an avoid as many distractions as possible. If you’re trying to find motivation to study, stay away from social media and TV and focus on the task in hand. When I work on my blog, I always get distracted with TV and Netflix so now I listen to music and whilst Social Media is still a distraction I have found myself to be more productive.
3. Set Goals – Make a plan and set achievable goals, It will feel so rewarding when you reach these goals you set no matter how big or small they are. I set goals with my blog and it’s great when you reach them. Celebrate reaching these goals and you’ll enjoy working for them! I can’t tell you how good it felt to hand in my dissertation, It makes all the persistence and hard work totally pay off.
4. Stay Positive – Negativity is so easy to get you down but keep your chin up and stay positive. I know it’s easier said than done and everyone has down days. Start believing in yourself and the negativity will fade.

Numbers 1 and 4! Yeees!
