Lifestyle: I’ve finished University, What’s Next?

The past couple of months have been interesting to say the least, I have completed my degree in Fashion Promotion and Business and now I am technically a graduate. My actual graduation is in September, but I am no longer a student which is scary. For the first time since I was three years old, I am no longer in education.

There are so many options on what I can do now, but it’s all very overwhelming. You would think that after three years and all that money I would know what I want to do but I don’t. There are many routes to go down such as Graduate Schemes, working abroad, travelling and more.

The University of Greenwich have a mentoring scheme which sounds brilliant if you are looking for guidance once you have graduated. I think it’s great that they understand how overwhelming the process is and they can prepare students for the big wide world.

I’ve decided it is best for me to take some time out and decide what it is I actually want to do. I’m spending this summer focusing on my blog and doing some online freelance work which I have been loving. I would love to work in London, possibly in Fashion PR, but at this moment I know it’s unrealistic and also I’m still only 20! I’d also really like to go travelling, I guess the world is my oyster so who knows what the future holds!

XOXO

*I worked with the University of Greenwich on this post, all opinions are still my own*

  1. Congratulations! In terms of what you want to do next, you have a fantastic blog so (if it's financially feasible) you could consider become a full-time blogger maybe? Also, travelling is a great option
