Top Picks of Advent Calendars 2014
I can’t believe it’s now nearly December! We will all soon be on the countdown to Christmas and be opening our Advent calendars every day. I know a lot of the BIG ones are now sold out, such as the Selfridges, No7 and Benefit ones, so I thought I’d do a little post on what’s available if you’re looking for a last-minute one!
If you’re looking for a great Beauty Calendar, the Lush and Ciate ones are still available. Although the Lush one is the 12 Days of Christmas, it’s filled with all of the Christmas favourites, including Hot Toddy Shower Gel, which I am loving right now. The Ciate one is amazing, filled with 25 amazing nail polishes – I had this one last year, and there is so many I still haven’t used, I’m set for the next couple of years! If you are heading to the Clothes Show, they will more than likely be selling these at a discount price. I got mine for £10!
You can’t beat a good old traditional chocolate Advent calendar. Lindt has brought out two this year, one priced at £5.49 and a luxury one at £9.99, which you get a full-sized bear on Christmas Eve. I have both of these and can’t wait to scoff them every morning.
So, Alcoholic advent calendars are a thing now! I found the Vodka and Gin ones. They are quite expensive at £99 and £110, but if you’re interested in tasting different samples, this is for you.
The last two calendars I have found, I think, are brilliant. Smiggle is a stationery store with a few stores in the UK, and they have launched a stationery advent calendar. I also have this one, and I’m pretty excited about it. The other one I’ve found is a Lego one, it’s brilliant if you have children or a childish mind like me! You can collect pieces to make your own little Christmas scene!

These all look amazing, I had never heard of alcohol calenders either haha! Think I'd rather go for a beauty one though 😛 Though the logo one does sounds cool! I remember Zoella had a lego one last year I think in vlogmas! Great post! x

I usually have chocolate calendars, but it sounds lovely to have a beauty advent. I will check them out this year! 🙂 x
