London Fashion Week SS15: Day Three
Day Three was pretty exciting for me! Lavazza kindly sent me and Liv to the Preen by Thornton Bregazzi Show. I’m still slightly in shock that we went and It was definitely the highlight of my week. The collection just blew my mind, full of bright stripes, cricket inspired accents and gorgeous prints. I loved the printed backpacks and chunky sandals – I think I’ll have to look into getting my hands on the backpack. I have a few favourite looks from the show which you can see below.
After a breakfast break at Patisserie Valerie, we dashed over to Lincoln’s Inn Fields for the Palmer//Harding presentation. The venue was incredible, like something out of Harry Potter.
Along with a lot of collections at Fashion Week, there were a lot of white-on-white ensembles. All the models were wearing sparkly silver mesh pumps. The collection was very sophisticated and feminine with soft embellishments.
After Palmer//Harding, I went along to the Edeline Lee presentation held on the river terrace in Somerset House (Which I didn’t even know existed!). The presentation was lovely, lot’s of pastels and girly designs. The make-up was so on-point with the eyeliner matching the coloured theme of the huts. It was a great little collection with live music to complement the clothes. (Also, All the models were insanely gorgeous!)
Then it was off to the Swedish School of Textiles at Fashion Scout. It was such an interesting show with lots of different graduates showing their collections. Some of them would’ve been perfect on the likes of Lady GaGa. It was amazing to see such extravagant designs on the catwalk. Afterwards, we went to the Fashions Finest show, which was also a designer showcase with different designers and boutiques, including Izelia – An African-inspired collection with a mix of sportswear and Wearing Moments – A jeweller’s who presented their collection on models wearing morph suits. Sunday was one of my favourite days at LFW. The preen show was just amazing, and I was so thankful to have been able to attend!
