We Are Fashion Weekend at Merry Hill
At the weekend, me and my friend Yaz went along for an afternoon of retail therapy at Merry Hill Shopping Centre. This weekend was their We are Fashion shopping event where they had exclusive discounts and fashion shows throughout the weekend. When we arrived we were greeted by a revolving platform which just looked intriguing in itself but we then found out that they were doing shows every 20 minutes each with different garments from different stores. The photo’s below is the Gap Show, which was amazing. All the models were dancing about and at was a really fun performance. Not to mention hunky model BB Kaye was there being his cheeky self!
I did try on a few items, some were things I thought I would never wear in a million years but actually looked alright. I bought the stripy dress from Topshop above, I was unsure about it first as it’s quite short but then I clocked a girl in Primark wearing it with leggings and boots and she was rocking it. It’s also such a classic pattern, I don’t think it will ever go out of fashion and at £28, that’s not a bad price for an investment piece. Here’s a few more photo’s from my day, including THAT Michael Kors Selma bag which will forever bet at the top of my wishlist and some fab River Island heels which I want for Summer!
The evening ended in Frankie and Benny’s, one of my fave restaurants! After an afternoon of shopping we deserved a good burger! I did make a couple of other purchases in Primark, how amazing is this jumper?! It was only £3! I am also insanely in love with the heels which were £12!
Overall, a very successful day shopping, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Merry Hill and seeing the performances – Can they be there every weekend? 😉 I also want to thank Merry Hill for providing me with a gift voucher to buy some goodies!

I don't know how models do it, I'd be so embarrassed if I had to stand on a revolving platform while people stared at me.
The striped dress looks really good and I'm loving the sound of how the girl you saw wearing it styled it.
I like the black peplum you rocked with the blue floral print skirt. The revolving We Are Fashion platform with dancing models doing 20 minute shows is an interesting eye-catching idea. It's a refreshing change from the standard model marches down the catwalks. It looks like a fun place to do some fashion shopping.
