Grand Designs Live!

Last weekend my Mum came to visit me and we had a lovely girly weekend. On Saturday, we spent the whole day at The NEC at The Wedding Show – Which you can check out the post here and also at Grand Designs. I found a website online you could get some free tickets and my Mum really wanted to go so I thought why not. I’ve never actually watched the TV Show and I didn’t know what to expect.

I think the show its self was bigger than the Clothes Show and after walking through a long tunnel of the theme tune playing you come to an opening where you could choose to look in different sections. From Interior to Bathrooms.. Kitchens to Gardens.. Homeware to Building. Trust me there was everything you would ever need when doing up a house. There were so many random stands like energy companies were there, people selling toy helicopters were there, wallpaper companies, hot tubs, garden decorations, window fitters, kitchen demonstrations, artwork and even tree houses! It honestly was mind-blowing!

Now, we aren’t doing up a house so we weren’t like on a mission to find anything but it would be a haven for someone doing up a house. Although, I can only presume it’ll be slightly expensive because only the best of the best was there! It was a really fun exhibition and we even met George Clarke off Amazing Spaces and my Mum was swooning over him after that. Here’s a few photo’s from Grand Designs Live!
