Paris 2013: Day 1&2

Bonjour! I’ve just returned from the city of love, Paris! I had such an amazing time and did so much! We had a very girly trip as it was a Fashion trip for my university course and it was just amazing! We went down to London on the coach and then through the tunnel on the Eurostar straight to Paris! The first day was spent travelling, we arrived at 2pm and were staying in the Bastille/Marais area so we just mooched around the area looking in shops and then we went for dinner in a little French restaurant. 

The second day was Valentines Day, suprisingly not too much lovey dovey happenings considering we were in Paris. The morning was spent going to Premiere Vision, a professional trade show for the fashion industry and where we go to find out the up and coming trends for S/S 2014. It was a really interesting place to go to and hopefully i’ll go back one day as a professional! In the afternoon we planned to go to the Eiffel Tower but the weather was not so good so we went to the big department store Galleries Lafayette. Oh Wow. What a shop! The centre of the shop had amazing galleries with the most amazing roof i have ever seen in my life. We wandered about the area, going to other stores such as Sephore (YAY) and Printemps. I’d totally recommend going to Galleries Lafayette, it was the first time i’d been in there and it was amazing.
