Christmas Is Coming To London 2012
It’s so unbelievably easy to get down to London since moving to Birmingham. Last weekend, I made a little trip down to the big smoke. It was such a lovely little trip and we managed to do so much from hitting the shops and seeing the sights. It seems that Christmas is coming to London. All of the department stores had their windows beautiful decked out in extravagant decorations. Christmas in London is truly spectacular with giant Christmas trees everywhere and gorgeous lights hanging up on Oxford Street.
Sadly, Winter Wonderland hadn’t opened when we were there otherwise I would have been there. We did, however, check out the Christmas markets on Southbank which were lovely and saw all the decorations in Covent Garden. For dinner, we went to Planet Hollywood. Although it’s a total tourist trap it’s one of my favourite places to eat and you always get great service.
