This is my first ever empties blogpost and I’m basically I’m on a spending ban throughout August (until NYC) and I’m going to try and use up what I have and sort it all out before uni!
Toni & Guy Refreshing Dry Shampoo – My mum works at Boots so i think she was the one who bought this at work, it’s supposed to refresh your hair between washes with a matte textured finish. I aren’t overly keen on this product, i really don’t like the matte finish it makes my hair stick together in klumps and sometimes makes it look more greasy that it was before using the product. It dosen’t leave any white marks in your hair but i’m pretty sure it dosen’t help my hair at all, I definitely prefer the Batiste dry shampoo and i really want to try the TRESemme one.
Aussie Limited Edition 3 Minute Miracle Colour Deep Treatment – I don’t use this product as my main Conditioner, just for special occasions when my hair is feeling horrendous and i mainly just apply this on the ends and you leave it on for 3 minutes and it makes your hair so so so soft and i am obsessed with the smell of this product, I love it! The only thing i don’t like is the ‘lid’ – there isn’t one you unpeel a sticker and squirt.. Great product overall, does wonders with my hair.
Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Conditioner – This is my main conditioner (and i have the matching Shampoo) and i do think this works well on my hair considering i bleached the ends back in may and it’s in pretty good condition. It’s supposed to protect you from split ends and I think it does and it smells of Raspberries which is always nice!
No7 Quick Thinking 4 in 1 Wipes – I get through a lot of wipes and these ones from No7 are my favourites, I think they are about £3.50 and i got mine with one of those vouchers and didn’t have to spend a penny! It gets rid of my make-up fast and it’s soft against the skin
Nivea Visage Refreshing Facial Cleansing Wipes – These are pretty much the same as the No7 ones expect they aren’t as smooth on the skin but they still are good wipes.
Impulse City Collection New York & Impulse Romantic Spark – I have waaay too many body sprays so i’m trying to use them all the time, these are a couple of my favourites that i’ve used up this month. They both smell nice and that’s it really..
Fresh! Chocolate fix Body Wash – This product smells so nice, all chocolate-y and yummy but that’s it really. It isn’t a long lasting smell on the body and it’s such a messy product and i’ve seemed to have gotten it everywhere and the bottle is all sticky!
Burberry Weekend Perfume 50ml – This is one of my favourite perfumes and it’s not my normal type of perfume as it’s quite soft and floral and my personal taste is really fruity. I have a little bit left but it won’t come out which is a shame but i have another 30ml bottle!
Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation (Shade Sand – I think) – I’ve been using this foundation since it launched and it was only a couple of weeks ago i switched to the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation when this one ran out. It’s a pretty battered foundation and all the labels have come off and i’m pretty sure it’s in shade Sand. It’s supposed to give you an air-brushed finish and i think it does, it has really good coverage and the only issue is that it’s so hard to get the product out when it’s nearly empty. I’ve just looked online and there’s a new packaging so i don’t know what that’s like! I may actually re-purchase this sometime because i do miss it..
If you’ve used any of these products let me know what you thought of them and also can anyone recommend me some good drug store foundations?
