Last weekend me, my mum and her friend Emma went on a little trip across the north sea to Bruges. We went on a P&O cruise ship from Hull to Zeebrugge on Saturday night and spent the day in Bruges on Sunday. I didn’t know what to expect with the cruise as the last time i went on it was to Disneyland about 14 years ago! It was a good experience although i’m pretty sure the top bunk-bed is a health and safety hazard, there was very small rail near my head and that was it, slept in fear of falling out. The food was great, all you can eat!

So Sunday we spent the whole day in Bruges, it was completely freezing and i’m pretty sure we walked up the wrong road to get to the centre of Bruges, we were walking round lots of back streets but we found cheap chocolate shops, i bought a couple of items although we thought they were expensive until we went to the more central ones! When we got in the centre square it was some nice buildings, lots of tourists and a lot of cafes and resturants. We went for a drink then came out and it was blizzarding so we took this opportunity to bob in and out of shops, slightly dissapointed H&M was closed! After an hour of shopping we relaxed in some bars, one that had a very questionable toilet.. right next to the urinal. not a great experience. I got some chips and ketchup then headed back to the boat.

I was going to do an outfit of the day but i looked like a tit in all the photos with the hat!

Hat – Primark

Scarf – Calvin Klein

Gloves – H&M

Coat – Falmer for Matlan

Bag – Miss Sefridges

I bought a lovely little bag to put my chocolates in!
