My Favourite Suncare Products to Keep Protected
Although, there’s a very minimal chance of jetting abroad this Summer, or even this year, that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the sunshine here in the UK. Obviously, the weather here is very hit and miss but I think this upcoming week should be a good one. I’m really lucky to have a garden to relax in and also a beach on my doorstep to wander along on my daily exercise. Even though we will be spending out Summer in the UK, it’s still just as important to protect ourselves from the sun. I can’t stress this enough, we must all wear SPF regularly and more importantly when it’s warm and lovely. I thought I would share some of sunscreen and suncare products I use.

Nivea Protect & Moisture Sunscreen
For years, Nivea has been a go-to brand for me when it comes to sun protection. They have an extensive collection of sunscreen with a range of different SPF’s. I’ve been using the protect & moisture sunscreen as it’s always good to stay moisturised. If I was to be exposed to sunlight all day, I would apply first thing in the morning and top it up after lunchtime. I’d definitely recommend Nivea for a reputable sunscreen at an affordable price.

Lancaster Tan Maximiser After Sun
Aftersun is also another key component to keeping safe in the sun. I’ve been using this Aftersun by Lancaster which is also a Tan Maximiser for a few years now. This product is to be used on the face and it promises to prolong your tan for up to an additional month. Although I’m not expecting to be catching a tan in the UK, it’s always important to use an after-sun and protecting your face is the most important thing to do. I’m a big fan of this product though as it’s so moisturising and I also love the scent!

Avene Eau Thermale Spring Water
My final product isn’t necessarily a suncare product but it’s one I use when it’s warm and humid outdoors. The Avene Thermale Spring Water is a must-have in my handbag during the warmer days. I’ve been using this on my daily walks to cool down but this product is great to mist over the face and keep the skin cool and reduce irritation.
As I’ve mentioned, it’s super important to keep your skin protected in the sun. Even in the UK, the sun can still damage your skin. Always wear an SPF and if you don’t use sunscreen, make sure there is SPF in your moisturiser or foundation.
XOXO
