Creating a Colorland Travel Photo Book + Discount
You can only imagine how many photos I took whilst in the USA and Canada for nine weeks. It was such an incredible once in a lifetime trip where I saw some breathtaking sights such as The Grand Canyon and Yosemite National Park. Obviously, I captured them all on my camera and have been documenting it all in my travel diary posts (which are still ongoing). Overall, I took over 20,000 photos, how insane is that?! When Colorland got in touch with me to work together, I knew this would be great opportunity to do something with some of my favourite moments that I captured in America and Canada.

Colorland is a company that offers lots of different products such as mugs, calendars and books that you can personalize with your favourite snaps. The photobooks are such a great way of keeping all your travel photos together. It’s so lovely item to have and to look back through all the memories. I decided to go for a classic 30×30 photo book*. When choosing which book I wanted, there were lots of different options for themes from adventure to travel. I wanted to keep things simple with a clean background and not too much going on so I went for the theme called “One For Every Occasion“.
The creation of the book was super easy, especially once I’d gathered my top two to three hundred photos which I wanted to put in the book. The theme that I’d chosen acts as a template adding its own text boxes and arrow decorations. The possibilities for the inside designs are endless. I tried switching it up with how my photos were on each page. In the end, I decided to create the book in order of my trip, writing where I was on each day.

Overall, I’m so pleased with the photo book; it was such high quality when it arrived 10 days later. I’d chosen a matte finish for the cover and it feels so well-made. I’d chosen the 30×30 square book but I hadn’t expected it to be quite so large. I was so impressed that the quality of the photos was still all perfect despite the size. I needn’t worry as it looked pretty sharp throughout.
The photo book is something I’ll be able to cherish for a very long time and look back on what an amazing trip it was. Although we live in the days where everyone is posting pictures online, it’s always nice to have some physical photographs to look through. Photobooks would also make a great present for your loved ones. My Mum’s a big fan of making photo books for everything. I actually made her one for Mother’s Day with lots of different photos of us!
Have you ever made a photo book?
