My stay at the 25hours Hotel Bikini Berlin
Today’s blog post is an exciting one. I’ve been so eager to share my experience at the 25hours Bikini Berlin Hotel from last month. The 25hours Hotel, which is located on the West side of Berlin has got to be one of my favourite hotel stays. A pretty big statement, huh? The whole hotel has got an Urban Jungle theme going on complete with a Monkey Bar and located right next to Berlin’s Zoo!

Everything about the hotel was just cool. Even the elevator ride up to the lobby emersed us in darkness as a futuristic show played all around us. The reception is located on the third floor with its own pop-up shop, bakery and so many places to just chill and hang around in one of the hammocks. We quickly checked in and headed up to our Eighth Floor Jungle M Room.

Our room was pretty spectacular with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Zoo. That’s not all, we had our very own hammock to just chill in whilst we took in the surroundings. I would have happily slept in the hammock – it wasn’t half comfy to just swing about in. The room was fully equipped with everything we would need from a very comfy bed, a TV, Bluetooth speaker and even a cute little monkey!

The bathroom was pretty open plan with the sink and rainfall shower basically in the room. It took us a while to realise there was a curtain for a lil bit of privacy. I really liked the set up of the whole room though, it was so unique. Let me tell you, the rainfall shower was pretty incredible.

At the top of the hotel are the restaurant and bar. It seemed that the Monkey Bar is one of the most popular places in Berlin. We actually heard some tourists talking about it at the Brandenburg Gate. Before we left for dinner, the queue to get up to the bar was so long. Luckily, as a hotel guest, we didn’t have to queue. The bar was pretty damn cool, with live music and an electric atmosphere. I decided to push the boat out and get a cocktail. I went for the Rafiki which was a gin-based drink with Rhubarb and Rosemary and it was absolutely delicious!

The hotel’s restaurant; Neni Berlin is where breakfast was served until 10.30am and what a pretty amazing space. It was all very Instagrammable with incredible views over Berlin. I was pretty impressed with the vast choice of food for breakfast from plenty of hot and cold options. Although it was -13, I did venture outside onto the terrace to take in the views and I can only imagine how lovely it would be to sit out in the Summer grabbing a bite to eat there.

I literally do not have one single fault with the hotel, I only wish I’d been staying longer. The 25hours Bikini Berlin Hotel is one of my favourite hotels I’ve ever stayed in. That’s a pretty huge statement. I just love the whole urban jungle concept which made our stay really unique and interesting. I’ve not even scratched the surface with how damn cool the hotel was, you could even rent bikes and Mini Cars to explore the city in! After checking out, we left our luggage and headed for an afternoon in the zoo next door which you can read about in my travel diary.
The 25hours Hotel also have properties in cities such as Zurich, Vienna, Munich and Paris. I’ll definitely be looking into staying there when I visit Zurich in June! You can find out more information and how to book a room here.
