Fashion: Denham Jeans Event , Leeds

A couple weeks ago, I was invited along to the Denham Jeans store on Briggate in Leeds. I popped onto the train for the day and even managed to squeeze in a bit of shopping and a cheeky Nando’s. Denham Jeans have got prime position on the high street with the store placed directly opposite Topshop and River Island in the Trinity Centre.
The brand was established in Amsterdam by Yorkshireman, Jason Denham and there is now stores all around the world. The store on Briggate is one of the newest branches and only opened back in July so I was really excited to see the store and find out more about the brand.
Their motto is “The Truth Is in Details” and it is! It was clear as soon as I arrived in store from the quality of jeans to the design of the store. The store was decorated with old fashioned scissors which I loved this unique aspect which comes from Jason Denham’s hobby of collecting them. They were placed on the stairs, used as hanging fixtures and is the companies logo.

We all had a browse of the current collection and along with a large range of jeans, you can pick up some basic wardrobe staples. Pairs of Jeans start from around £100 and go up to £600 for their finest pair which are made in Japan. I guess you’re thinking what is so special about them for that price? Well, the denim is sourced to be the highest of quality from Japan and Italy and to follow the brand motto, the attention to detail is outstanding with each pair of jeans having precisely 691 stitches on the scissors logo.
I personally struggle with jeans, I can never find any that fit well as I’m a short-arse and I find the whole process quite stressful to be honest. So when I was shown the Personal Private Wardrobe Experience upstairs, I knew this was for me. The Private wardrobe is essentially a Personal Shopping session and the room can be hired out free. If you were to arrange an appointment in the private wardrobe, a collection will be curated based on your size and preferences and there will even be refreshments available. The whole experience is above and beyond anything I’ve see in retail on the high street and you can really see how the company takes pride in all the small details to make the customer’s experience extraordinary.

I was kindly allowed to choose a pair of jeans to try out for myself and they really are seriously comfortable. I will defiantly be showing them in an upcoming blog post! Don’t forget I have just launched a new giveaway where you could win a Tanya Burr Deck The Hauls Advent Calendar here!

XOXO
