Three Ways to Style Straight Leg Jeans

It’s a miracle, I’ve FINALLY got round to doing a style post. Whilst I do focus on a few other topics on my blog now, I always consider myself primarily a Travel & Style Blogger. Looking through my blog, the fashion posts have been very far and few but I’m hoping this is all going to change. I feel like I’ve got my mojo back and I’ve got a few new pieces in my wardrobe. For today’s post, I’ve teamed up with Very.com to talk about all things jeans.

Jeans are the ultimate staple for all wardrobes but it’s can’t half be a pain to find a style that really suits you. For me, I love High Waisted Jeans. I’d say that 95% of my jeans are from Topshop as I’ve found a few styles that I love such as the Jamie Jeans and Editor Jeans which feature in today’s post. If you don’t know already, Very.com stock a lot of Topshop items including many of the well-loved Jeans.

I have recently picked up these Topshop Editor Jeans from Very.com. They were actually half price which is a total bargain. I’m currently obsessed with them, they are a high waisted straight leg style. They do have the Mom Jeans vibe but they are a slightly more fitted style. Seen as I’ve been wearing them all the time since they arrived, I thought I would share how I’ve been styling the jeans.

Knitwear & Vans

For heading out on a shopping trip or a coffee catch up with friends, this has been a go-to look for me. I am quite petite so I’ve found that the 30-inch leg is a little too long to wear with high top converse or boots so I’ve paired them with my favourite Vans. Although, it’s quite a casual look, the leather jacket which is from Topshop and cream knit make it a little more put together. I also have to mention my sunglasses, a £2 bargain from Primark!

Ruffles & Sandals

This is probably my favourite look out of the three. It’s perfect for date night or I’m planning to wear this in Los Angeles. I’ve found so many white blouses with ruffle detailing and I’m loving this trend for Spring. I’ve added some red sliders for a pop of colour and an embellished headband. I can’t wait to be walking down Santa Monica pier in this!

Colourful Stripes & Pastel Trainers

Another casual look featuring a little more colour than the first. This colourful striped top has been worn to death over the last year or so. A baggy top goes so well tucked into the Editor jeans. It justs shows in all three looks how versatile these jeans are and can be down dressed down like this or dressed up for a date night.

I’ve previously shied away from trying anything but skinny jeans but I’m absolutely loving the Editor Jeans. The high waist makes them look really flattering and I’ve been loving styling them. You can browse a huge selection of Womens Jeans on Very.com and the Editor style featured in today’s post can be found here.

Are you a big jeans lover like myself? What style do you usually go for?

XOXO
