Fashion: Clothes Show Live 2015

The Clothes Show 2015 marked my ninth year of visiting one of my favourite Fashion & Beauty events. As I don’t live in Birmingham anymore it was the perfect excuse for my friend Becca and I to have a girly trip and explore the cities new additions, the Christmas Market and visit the Clothes Show.

If you haven’t heard about the Clothes Show Live before, it’s the ultimate girl’s day out at the NEC in Birmingham every December with shopping, celebrities, live fashion show and lot’s more! I was really lucky to be invited down to the show and check out the Blogger’s Bar which the Clothes Show had organised so we could report live from the show.

Hundreds of brands gather in the halls of the NEC offering discounts on their products so naturally, we went bargain hunting. To be honest, none of the fashion stands really caught my eye but I couldn’t help myself when it came to the beauty brands. For the first time, NYX Cosmetics had a stand which was to coincide with their UK launch in Selfridges store and online on Boots and Feel Unique. NYX was so popular that there was 40+ minute queue for most of the day! I picked up a couple of items including the photo finish primer which I am loving and a couple of the Matte Lip Creams which I am going to be doing a full review on them soon! Another beauty brand which caught my attention was Peaches & Cream and they were doing an amazing deal where you got some of their popular items for £20, a full review on these will also be coming soon too!

In between the shopping, we stopped by some of the smaller stages which were showing Fashion Graduate collections, Q&A’s with celebrities and industry talks. The Image stage was presented by Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing and Antonia O’Brien – who always wears the most incredible outfits. We managed to catch the end of Charlotte Crosby’s Q&A and see a Graduate Catwalk show.

The main Fashion Show takes place every hour or so and ticket holders are given a specific time to arrive. The show is always a huge spectacle and a hive of excitement, our show was presented by Rick Edwards and Ella Eyre played her latest song. The show had everything from incredible outfits, amazing choreography and even a stormtrooper. Watch my video from the weekend and don’t forget to subscribe!

Have you been to the Clothes Show? Did you pick up any bargains?

XOXO
