It’s time for my final Festive Gift Guide and this one is full of tasty treats. Whether you are buying for a gift or looking to treat yourself to some delicious goodies, I’ve got you covered. Christmast is the best time to indulge in some naughty treats. I’m not going to lie, the chocolate has already come out along with the pigs in blankets. These treats below would make both great gifts and stocking fillers or alternativly, just keep them for yourself!
The first couple of items I picked up on a recent trip to John Lewis. I’m currently putting together a little hamper for a family member and there was lot’s of cute litte sets. First up, I got some Rhubard Flavoured Gin Marshmallows. I believe they were £3 but I though they would be a great little gift if you are a gin lover. I’ll be adding that to the hamper along with the Cottage Collection of Six Chutneys and Sauces. There’s a wide variety of flavours and I think it will fit well in with the hamper once I’ve picked up some cheeses and crackers.
One of the best things about Christmas is all the increible new flavours which have been brought out. I’m sure we have all eyed up the Pigs in Blanket flavoured crisps. Metcalfe’s Popcorn have brought out Toffee Apple and Eton Mess Flavoured jumble packs. This is great as you don’t really get adventourus flavoured popcorn and the Eton Mess ones are delicious!
What’s Christmas without a cheeky tipple? Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueor has made it’s way into our drinks cabinet and over Christmas I’m going to be making a few cocktails with it as the possibilities are endless. Whether it’s a Bellini or just adding a drop into Champagne, it’s a great tipple for Christmas Day or giving as a little present.
Gin is quite a big thing in our household. On Christmas Day, we do try and test many different Gin flavours. This year we have a new additon in the Mermaid Gin which is made by the Isle of Wight Distillery. I mentioned this Gin in my Gift Guide For Her as it’s a great present for any G&T lover, the flavour is delightful and this gin even includes Mermaid Tears!
I absolutly love this chocolate alternative that Cadbury’s has produced for a Gingerbread House. The Chocolate Cottage Kit includes all the chocolate you need to create this festive house. This would make a great present for those with children who would enjoy making it. Alternatively, you’ve got my Dad would would just love to eat it all! I can’t wait to make this, stay tuned on my social media over the next couple of days for the results.
Finally, we’ve got these cute fun packs of sweets from Haribo. Again, these would make a great stocking filler for kids and the packagins is super adorable. I’ll be giving these to my nephews this year and I’m sure they won’t last too long! These are available in the main supermarkets and online here.
I hope this post hasn’t made you feel hungry! I’d love to hear what your favourite thing to eat at Christmas is? Don’t forget to check out my other Festive Gift Guides below!
