The Champagne Afternoon Tea at The Ivy, York

Ever since The Ivy opened their doors in York about a year ago, I’ve been desperate to visit. I was kindly invited to visit a couple of weeks ago to try their Limited Edition Poppy Afternoon Tea with my Mum and it was well worth the visit. Throughout November, there was an incredible installation outside of the restaurant with over 2,000 poppies to commemorate 100 years since the end of the first world war. The Limited Edition Poppy Afternoon Tea was been served alongside the installation to support The Royal British Legion’s North East and Yorkshire branch.  You’ve probably heard…

Tasting The Festive Menu at Dakota Deluxe Leeds

Is it too early to be talking about Christmas? It might only be October but the Festive season seems to be creeping upon us already. On Wednesday, Stefan and I went across to Leeds to the Dakota Deluxe to taste their new Festive menu which will be launching on the 23rd November until Christmas Eve. The Dakota Deluxe which is located on Russell Street in Leeds City Centre is an absolutely stunning hotel. We’ve stayed here earlier in the year and the rooms are to die for, the whole decor is just beautiful. Given that the weather was in the…

My Stay At The Hotel Indigo, York

A couple of weeks ago, I turned the grand age of 24 and to mark the occasion, my boyfriend and I went on a little road trip. We started off in York before heading over to Liverpool, Chester and then on to Manchester. York is basically my second home, it’s about an hour away making it the perfect place for a stop off. The Hotel Indigo York had also invited us for a stay and we couldn’t wait to check out the hotel. I’ve previously visited the hotel which is on Walmgate; a short walk from the city centre for…

Tasting the new menu at The Cosy Club, York

A few weeks ago, I headed over to York to try out the new menu at The Cosy Club. The restaurant is located down Fossgate in one of my favourite areas and if you’re familiar with York, you might remember that this property used to be a huge vintage store! I’ve previously dined at The Cosy Club before but only from their lunchtime menu which is served until 5pm and has some deals! It was my boyfriends first time here and we were both excited to see what was on the new menu. There was also a new drinks menu…

A Luxury Woodland Stay at The North Star Club, Sancton

North Star Club has been on my radar for quite a while. It’s somewhere that seemed to be everywhere on social media and it looked simply magical. I was beyond excited to be staying there a couple of weeks ago on a cosy weekend retreat with my boyfriend. North Star Club is nestled in the woodlands beside the very small village of Sancton in North Yorkshire and actually is only about an hour away from where I live. Before our arrival, I was e-mailed a little guide on what to expect from our luxury glamping experience. I’ve never really stayed…
