Five Places on my UK Travel Bucket List 2019

Over the last 18 months, I’ve been really focusing on exploring more of the UK and visiting places I’ve always wanted to go. Last year, I ticked off Windsor and Brighton and this year I recently visited Chester and their amazing zoo! In July, I had a lovely break in the Lake District and also was lucky enough to explore Aberdeenshire on a road trip with the tourism board. I’ve definitely been enjoying the beautiful sights which are just on the doorstep! However, there are a few more UK Travel destinations I’m very keen to explore very soon. (Photo Source)…

My 2018 Travel Highlights

I honestly can’t believe 2018 is coming to a close. As always, I’ve put together a little highlights blogpost mainly focusing on where I’ve been on my travels. After my big USA trip in 2017, I was expecting to have quite a quiet year but I  managed to sneak in a few amazing trips. This year, I was also really lucky to explore a lot more of the UK and I hope to do that further in 2019. It’s so good to look back on your year and see how much you have achieved and done. My Stay At The Hotel Indigo, York

A couple of weeks ago, I turned the grand age of 24 and to mark the occasion, my boyfriend and I went on a little road trip. We started off in York before heading over to Liverpool, Chester and then on to Manchester. York is basically my second home, it’s about an hour away making it the perfect place for a stop off. The Hotel Indigo York had also invited us for a stay and we couldn’t wait to check out the hotel. I’ve previously visited the hotel which is on Walmgate; a short walk from the city centre for…

Exploring Covent Garden with Hotels.com

Covent Garden is one of my favourite areas in London so when Hotels.com asked me to spend the day exploring the area for the best places to eat, see and visit, I jumped at the chance. Yes, Covent Garden is seriously touristy but there are some great little spots such as Neal’s Yard tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The street acts and market stalls are the essence of London and there are some amazing places to eat in the area. We usually stay near Covent Garden when we are visiting London as there’s so much to do in…

Reasons to stay at The LaLiT London on your next trip to …

London is a beautiful city. It is a known fact, and that is why, when a wise old man said, ‘Once you are tired of London, you are tired of life’, it was widely accepted. Such is the charm of the capital of England and the United Kingdom that if you cannot find something you love in London, you may not find anything you love anywhere else in the world. What stands to reason this sweeping statement is the fact that the city has everything to love—from mind-boggling architecture to a history that’s steeped in culture. From the largest music…

Unique Ideas for Date Night in Manchester

Last month, I spent a couple of days in Manchester for my Boyfriend’s birthday. As you might all know, I’m always planning trips and I love to be super organised. I’d done a bit of research on Manchester to find some of the best places to visit for date night. Turns out, there are so many options in Manchester. Too many to choose from! We managed to go to quite a few places but I thought I’d put my research to good use and put together a blog post on places that make a fun and unique night out in Manchester.…
