Travel Diary: 72 hours in Berlin – Part Two

Welcome back to Part Two of my Berlin Travel Diary – You can read Part One here if you haven’t already. Day Two in the city started with a quick Starbucks as we headed back to the Brandenburg Gate for some more photos. We then caught the U-Bahn to Checkpoint Charlie. Although it’s not the original border house (you can view that in the museum), the original site has a replica. Checkpoint Charlie was the crossing point between East and West Berlin and just around the corner is an original piece of the Berlin Wall. It’s pretty surreal to see…

Travel Diary: 72 hours in Berlin – Part One

My latest adventure was to the German Capital of Berlin. It was my first time visiting Berlin and me and my Mum decided to spontaneously book a last minute trip. We had four nights in the city but that worked out as three whole days to explore. During that time, we thankfully escaped the Beast from the East battering the UK. Berlin, however, was even colder but with glorious sunshine and no snow. Some days the temperatures¬†dropped to -13 degrees. It sure was chilly so we had to properly wrap up with 101 layers. I’ve also decided to split this…

A Solo Trip to Universal Studios, Hollywood with Attractiontix #12

I can’t believe how long it’s taking me to get through all of the USA blog posts. I don’t even think I’m halfway through my trip yet. In Part 11 of my American travel diaries, we were exploring all things Venice Beach, Santa Monica & Beverly Hills but it was time for a couple of days in the theme parks! The first stop; Universal Studios, Hollywood. I’d partnered up with AttractionTix to go on a solo adventure to Universal Studios, Hollywood. Can you believe that I’ve actually been to Universal Studios around 22 years ago on my first family holiday…

Travel Diary: 72 Hours in Copenhagen

Last week, I spent a couple of days in Copenhagen with my Mum. You might have noticed me mention it a hundred times on social media and I’ve been obsessively posting lots on Instagram. Copenhagen is seriously an Instagrammers heaven. It was our first trip to Denmark and we spent around 3 days in total but we could’ve done with another day. There was so much to see and do! Grab a drink as this post is going to be rather long. I’ve decided to do a travel diary style¬†post with lots of photos. I’ll be doing a separate delicious…

Edinburgh in 32 Hours

Many of you may know that I travelled up to Scotland to spend a couple of days with Charlotte. The adventure started in Edinburgh, which is one of my favourite places and actually a place that Charlotte had never been! We Stayed at the Old Town Chambers 5* Serviced Apartments which you can read about here. All in all, we had around 32 hours in the city to explore all the old cobbled streets and soak in all the history. After checking-in to Old Town Chambers which was conveniently located just off The Royal Mile, we went for a wander.…

My 22nd Birthday in Disneyland Paris

At the end of August, I turned 22 and spent the week amongst the magic of Disneyland Paris. If you’ve been following me for a long time you’ll know that I sort of like Disney. A lot. We managed to get a pretty sweet deal on Expedia and stayed at the Magic Circus Hotel which is an official partner hotel of Disneyland Paris and offer free shuttle buses to the parks. I went with my Mum, her friend Clare & her daughter Carenza. Just a little forewarning; that this is a rather long post. In total, we spent three whole…
