The Champagne Afternoon Tea at The Ivy, York

Ever since The Ivy opened their doors in York about a year ago, I’ve been desperate to visit. I was kindly invited to visit a couple of weeks ago to try their Limited Edition Poppy Afternoon Tea with my Mum and it was well worth the visit. Throughout November, there was an incredible installation outside of the restaurant with over 2,000 poppies to commemorate 100 years since the end of the first world war. Tasting The Festive Menu at Dakota Deluxe Leeds

Is it too early to be talking about Christmas? It might only be October but the Festive season seems to be creeping upon us already. On Wednesday, Stefan and I went across to Leeds to the Dakota Deluxe to taste their new Festive menu which will be launching on the 23rd November until Christmas Eve. After a spot of shopping, we headed over to The Potting Shed which is a short walk from the train station and the Flemingate Shopping Centre. The restaurant has been opened for just over six months and previously I’d seen a lot of people buzzing about the…

Eat Me Cafe, Scarborough

It’s been quite some time since I’ve done a foodie post. If you follow me on Instagram and even Twitter, I am always taking photo’s of my food and where I am eating. Yes, I am that person who demands no one touch their food until I’ve done a whole photoshoot with it all. I really apologise to my friends for that. Today, I am talking about one of my favourite places to eat in Scarborough; Eat Me Cafe. This place opened a couple of years ago, just behind the Stephen Joseph Theatre. It’s certainly caused a massive buzz amongst locals.…
