15 Free Places To Visit in Yorkshire This Summer

As we’re getting into Summer, it’s time to start planning a few days out. If there’s a few of you in the family, it can really add up and become and expensive day out. I’ve teamed up with Cash Lady who have got a new consumer credit index tool to help with short term credit solutions to put together 15 free days out in and around Yorkshire. These suggestions could really help save a few pennies throughout Summer. (Image Source) Starting with the National Railway Museum in York. One of the county’s favourite museums housing some iconic trains and it’s completly…

Homesense opens in Leeds City Centre & Haul

A couple of weeks ago, I popped along to Leeds on the train to a get a sneak preview of the brand new Homesense store. I’ve actually been pretty excited about Homsense opening in the city centre as I don’t really live near a store so this one is really accessible for me. The store is located on The Headrow at the top of the shopping area. Also, If you haven’t heard of Homesense they are the sister company of TK:Maxx. It’s basically a huge store dedicated to the Homeware section that you’d normally find in TK:Maxx aka my idea of…

Almost Famous Burgers, Leeds

Leeds is quickly becoming the place to be. I’m literally finding it so hard to stay away from Leeds at the moment. The food, shopping and just everything is on point. Later this month will see the opening of Victoria Gate where the brand new John Lewis will be and many more stores such as Neom (YES!), & Other Stories, Anthropology and Maje. The past couple of years has seen the growth in shopping with the Trinity Shopping Centre and with that came along a whole host of amazing bars and restaurants. Almost Famous Burgers been one of them. I believe…

The One Where I went to Friends Fest

Friends Fest has arrived in Yorkshire. The Festival opened their gates on Wednesday in the grounds of Harewood House. My Mum and I have been counting down the days since we bought tickets a couple of months ago. I wasn’t too sure what to expect but after seeing a couple of photographs from the London Festivals, I knew that it was an actual outdoor festival. Although today is the last day it’s at Harewood House, it will be moving on to Knebworth House between 21st-25th September and then Blenheim Palace the following week. We popped on the bus from Leeds…

The event was held at Banyan Bar & Grill which is just opposite Leeds Train Station. I’ve never been before but going off their incredible Brunch, I will definitely be returning soon! After the event, a few of us popped off to take a couple of photo’s of our outfits. I think the people of Leeds were pretty confused…

Live at Leeds Festival

Last weekend, I was lucky enough to be invited along to Live at Leeds Festival with The Blogger Programme and Zeitgeist. This year’s festival was celebrating their tenth anniversary! If you are unfamiliar with the festival it’s basically a metropolitan festival so it takes places in loads of different venues across the city with bands playing all day and into the night. Unfortunately on the morning of the Festival, headliner Jess Glynne had to pull out due to illness. I was pretty gutted about that but there was plenty of other great bands playing. I brought my Brother along for the…
