Motel One Alexanderplatz, Berlin

Berlin seems like such a long time ago, it’s actually only been two weeks. I escaped the Beast from the East for even colder climes but thankfully a lot less snow but it seems I can’t escape The Beast 2.0! I’m going to be doing quite a few blog posts on Berlin as we managed to squeeze so much into the couple of days we were in the German Capital. In total, we spent four nights but had three full days to explore the city. One of the hotels in which we stayed in was the Motel One Alexanderplatz-Berlin. The hotel actually…

Hotel Cheyenne, Disneyland Paris

My annual pass to Disneyland Paris has now officially expired, sad times! I do, however, have so much Disneyland Paris content coming up. In the next couple of months, I’ll also be visiting Disneyland California and Walt Disney World! My last trip to Disneyland Paris was in May for the 25th Anniversary and it was actually the first time we booked to stay in a Disney resort using our Annual Pass. With our Annual Passes, we were able to ring up and book an amazing deal at the Hotel Cheyenne using the AP discount. I had actually previously stayed at…

The Macdonald Windsor Hotel & Caleys Scottish Steakhouse

I have wanted to visit Windsor for such a long time and after a few days in Brighton and London, we had the perfect opportunity. My Mum and I boarded a train from Paddington and within 40 minutes we arrived in Windsor. During our trip, we were invited to stay at the Macdonald Windsor Hotel which is conveniently located right across from Windsor Castle. If you want to see all about my trip to Windsor Castle, you can read all about it here. Although Windsor is quite a small town, you literally couldn’t be more central than this hotel. This…

Staying at the Hotel Kong Arthur & Spa, Copenhagen

Sitting along Copenhagen’s inner lakes is the Hotel Kong Arthur which was my temporary home whilst in the city. The boutique hotel is around a 20-minute walk from the centre of Copenhagen and only a short walk from Nørreport Metro Station which has connections across the city and to the airport. Also nearby to the hotel is Torvehallerne Food Market, The Botanical Gardens and Rosenborg Castle. This meant we could get up and out early and head to these sights before they got too busy. We arrived into Copenhagen mid-afternoon and headed straight to the hotel to check-in. The lobby was…

A Weekend In Manchester with Mercure

The weekend before Christmas, I was invited along to Manchester by the lovely people at Talented Talkers and Mercure to take part in their #ExperienceMercure Campaign. Of course, I said yes and invited Hayley along for the ride. A little warning that this post is pretty festive for mid-January! First stop after arriving at Manchester Piccadilly was obviously for food. We had a few recommendations about checking out The Northern Quarter and decided on one of my favourite places; Almost Famous (my Leeds AF review). I knew Hayley would love it here, especially with the crazy maple candy and bacon…

AC Hotel by Marriott, Birmingham

Last month, I headed down to Birmingham for a couple of days to see Hayley, visit the Christmas Market and also go to the Clothes Show. If you are a new reader, I actually used to live in Birmingham whilst I was at University so it was quite lovely to visit. The city has changed so much in the past 18 months, it seems that the moment I left everything changed. One of the new additions is the AC Hotel by Marriott which is located canalside in The Mailbox (pictured below). I arrived into the city around lunchtime. I was a little…
