2017

Happy New Year! I’m finally back! I’ve been back in the UK now for two weeks and I’m not going to lie, I’d still rather be in America. As we’re in the New Year now, I thought I’d do a little 2017 round-up post. These are my favourite type of posts to look back on. I’ve got so much content to share with you and I’ll get cracking with my USA diary posts over the next couple of days so stay tuned! 2017 was an insane year where I finally went on my dream USA trip. I still can’t believe…

Top 5 Must See Places in Copenhagen

Whenever I’m travelling or visiting somewhere new, I’m all about getting the perfect itinerary. In addition to creating travel diaries on return from a trip, I really want to produce more content that is really highlighting where you need to go. My itineraries are a perfect mix of including those must see sights and unique lesser known discoveries. Copenhagen really surprised me, there was so much to see and do. We are talking three palaces in the city centre, the longest shopping street in Europe and the home of Hans Christian Anderson and Carlsberg. With so much going on, these my…

Copenhagen Food Diary & Visiting Torvehallerne Market

Food diaries are becoming my new favourite blog posts to write when I return from a trip. They do however make me super hungry looking at all the delicious food. Last month, I visited Copenhagen and I’ve written all about my trip here – go check it out! I usually pre-plan where looks good as I’m a fussy eater and it’s always good to have a few suggestions. On the first evening in Copenhagen, we had booked into the Hard Rock Cafe for their Superbowl viewing party. For around £32, we got a legendary burger, nachos at half-time and popcorn.…

Staying at the Hotel Kong Arthur & Spa, Copenhagen

Sitting along Copenhagen’s inner lakes is the Hotel Kong Arthur which was my temporary home whilst in the city. The boutique hotel is around a 20-minute walk from the centre of Copenhagen and only a short walk from Nørreport Metro Station which has connections across the city and to the airport. Also nearby to the hotel is Torvehallerne Food Market, The Botanical Gardens and Rosenborg Castle. This meant we could get up and out early and head to these sights before they got too busy. We arrived into Copenhagen mid-afternoon and headed straight to the hotel to check-in. The lobby was…

Travel Diary: 72 Hours in Copenhagen

Last week, I spent a couple of days in Copenhagen with my Mum. You might have noticed me mention it a hundred times on social media and I’ve been obsessively posting lots on Instagram. Copenhagen is seriously an Instagrammers heaven. It was our first trip to Denmark and we spent around 3 days in total but we could’ve done with another day. There was so much to see and do! Grab a drink as this post is going to be rather long. I’ve decided to do a travel diary style post with lots of photos. I’ll be doing a separate delicious…

My Copenhagen Bucket List

Tomorrow I’m heading off to Copenhagen for a couple of days. It’s all very exciting as I’ve never been to Scandinavia before. In true Rachel fashion, I’ve been reading all the guidebooks and looking on all blogs to conjure up the perfect itinerary to explore the city. We are going to purchase a Copenhagen Card which offers free entry or discounts to many of the top tourist attractions. Unfortunately, the main attraction is Tivoli Gardens and they are closed in the winter. I’m so gutted about this but it’s an excuse for another trip in Summer, right? Visit the Little…
