How I Spent Three Days in Dublin using the 24hr Dublin Pass

Last week, I flew across Dublin, Ireland for the first time. My Mum managed to find us an incredible deal on Expedia for a hotel and flight package for only £80! The hotel we stayed in was called The Temple Bar Inn and I was super impressed as it was a lovely little hotel considering the price. As you can imagine, judging by the name of the hotel, we were located in the Temple Bar area, right on Fleet Street but not right in the middle of it. However, it was in a great location to just wander back after…

My Copenhagen Bucket List

Tomorrow I’m heading off to Copenhagen for a couple of days. It’s all very exciting as I’ve never been to Scandinavia before. In true Rachel fashion, I’ve been reading all the guidebooks and looking on all blogs to conjure up the perfect itinerary to explore the city. We are going to purchase a Copenhagen Card which offers free entry or discounts to many of the top tourist attractions. Unfortunately, the main attraction is Tivoli Gardens and they are closed in the winter. I’m so gutted about this but it’s an excuse for another trip in Summer, right? Visit the Little…

A Weekend In Manchester with Mercure

The weekend before Christmas, I was invited along to Manchester by the lovely people at Talented Talkers and Mercure to take part in their #ExperienceMercure Campaign. Of course, I said yes and invited Hayley along for the ride. A little warning that this post is pretty festive for mid-January! First stop after arriving at Manchester Piccadilly was obviously for food. We had a few recommendations about checking out The Northern Quarter and decided on one of my favourite places; Almost Famous (my Leeds AF review). I knew Hayley would love it here, especially with the crazy maple candy and bacon…

Surprise Yourself with Surprise Trips

As a person who likes having itinerary’s and to know exactly where I’m going, You’d think the idea of a surprise trip would not be down my alley. Well, you’re right but the idea of Surprise Trips which sends you to a random European location excites me. Can you imagine not knowing where you are jetting off to until you get to the airport?! I love this concept and it can be tailored to your budget, with accommodation in a minimum of a 3* hotel in one of 77 possible European Destinations. Who knows, you could be visiting the Vatican in Rome,…

Two Days in London with Travelodge

Last week, I travelled down to London for a couple of days. I was kindly invited to stay at the Travelodge in Covent Garden and I had also booked to see Mamma Mia the musical. It was a lovely little trip! When we arrived in London, we caught the tube to Westfield Shopping Centre as it’s basically a shopper’s paradise. However, I didn’t manage to buy anything but It still baffles me how big it is there! We then made our way to the Travelodge in Covent Garden for the 3pm Check-In. The hotel is in a very central location on Drury Lane – Minutes from…

Paris Day Three; Notre Dame Cathedral & The Louvre

Day three in Paris was our final day in the French Captial. My main priority for the day was to hunt down the discount pharmacy in Saint-Germain on Rue De Four. A beauty blogger’s priorities. I’ve been before si it was pretty easy to find. Keep your eyes out for the items that I ended up picking up. It was then off to the Notre Dame Cathedral but first, we stopped off at Shakespear & Co which is a gorgeous bookshop just on the river bank. I’ve never actually been inside the  Notre Dame Cathedral as there are usually horrendous…
