A Weekend In Manchester with Mercure

The weekend before Christmas, I was invited along to Manchester by the lovely people at Talented Talkers and Mercure to take part in their #ExperienceMercure Campaign. Of course, I said yes and invited Hayley along for the ride. A little warning that this post is pretty festive for mid-January! First stop after arriving at Manchester Piccadilly was obviously for food. We had a few recommendations about checking out The Northern Quarter and decided on one of my favourite places; Almost Famous (my Leeds AF review). I knew Hayley would love it here, especially with the crazy maple candy and bacon…

AC Hotel by Marriott, Birmingham

Last month, I headed down to Birmingham for a couple of days to see Hayley, visit the Christmas Market and also go to the Clothes Show.┬áIf you are a new reader, I actually used to live in Birmingham whilst I was at University so it was quite lovely to visit. January January was a pretty quiet month, I went to a couple of events in Leeds which was great to get to know more local bloggers. Search Laboratory and Posh Flooring invited me to Murder…

Visiting Christmas Markets in the UK

I’ve spent the past couple of weeks doing a mini tour of lots of different Christmas Markets around the UK. I absolutely love Christmas Markets to get you in the Christmas mood. What’s more festive than drinking a mug of gluhwein, enjoying yummy food and listening to Christmas tunes? Winter Wonderland, London Every November, I have to visit London to see it in its festive glory. The windows, the lights, the markets; it’s all so magical. It can get insanely busy so I do try and visit the last week in November to avoid crowds. There are a few Christmas…
