The Highline & First Day on Trek America #2

My Travel Diary posts were going so well, I managed to get the first one published right off the bat. Since starting my Trek America trip, I’ve barely had time to get my laptop out. It’s actually been more than a week since my first post but we’re already in Texas and have covered Philadelphia, DC, Nashville, Memphis & New Orleans. On my last day in New York, I started the day walking The Highline as I really wanted to visit some sights I’ve never done in the city. The Highline actually started right around the corner from my hotel…

Christmas at Walt Disney World – My Travel Bucket list

Although I’ve only just started my trip across America, I’m still planning ahead and one destination I’m super excited about is of course, Walt Disney World. I’ll be ending my nine week trip in the Sunshine State and I’ll also be celebrating Christmas at the most magical place on earth. After Halloween, the Disney Parks transform into Christmas heaven and there’s a few things I’m rather excited for; Mickey’s Merry Christmas Party On selected evenings, Magic Kingdom plays host to Mickey’s Merry Christmas Party. I actually went to the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party back in 2015 and it was incredible…

Welcome to New York #1

I’ve officially started my nine week trip across America and Canada. On Tuesday, I flew from Manchester Airport to New York JFK to embark on my crazy solo trip. I can’t believe I actually made it across the Atlantic and WITHOUT any tears! I arrived in New York late afternoon and got a taxi into Manhattan. I’m staying at The Jane Hotel in Greenwich Village which is such a cute little affordable hotel. The lobby is literally JUST like the Tower of Terror at Disney. The rooms are very cosy but overall, it’s an amazing price for New York. I’ll…

Usually, I spend months writing up a strict itinerary and being super organised but time has just flown by. Luckily, Marco Polo Guides have come to the rescue and I’ve been reading up on some of the destinations I’ll be visiting and getting a better idea of where I want to go and what to see. If you’ve not heard about my trip before, I’m spending the first three weeks on a coast…

Hotel Cheyenne, Disneyland Paris

My annual pass to Disneyland Paris has now officially expired, sad times! I do, however, have so much Disneyland Paris content coming up. In the next couple of months, I’ll also be visiting Disneyland California and Walt Disney World! My last trip to Disneyland Paris was in May for the 25th Anniversary and it was actually the first time we booked to stay in a Disney resort using our Annual Pass. With our Annual Passes, we were able to ring up and book an amazing deal at the Hotel Cheyenne using the AP discount. I had actually previously stayed at…
