A guide to the weekend in Bangkok

With Buddhist temples, floating markets, world-class shopping and a vibrant nightlife, it’s no surprise that Bangkok is one of Southeast Asia’s top tourist destinations. Although, there’s so much to see and do, it’s possible to experience the city’s main attractions and sights in just a couple of days. In fact, Thailand’s capital often acts as a gateway to the northern jungles and south islands, meaning weekend stop-offs are common. To help you make the most of your time, I’ve put together a Bangkok travel guide with some pointers on where to go and what to do.  (Photo Source) Where to…

2 Days at Disneyland California & James Cordon #13

I’ve definitely been slacking on keeping up with my USA diaries post, haven’t I? There hasn’t been one in the past month, not to mention – this trip was six months ago! I’ll get there eventually! We’re now on Day 28 in America and this was a very exciting day. It was time to head over to Anaheim – I was going to Disneyland California! The original Disneyland and the only park that Walt Disney himself designed and oversaw the opening in person. I’d actually managed to pre-order an Uber the night before at a set rate of $50 so I…

My stay at the 25hours Hotel Bikini Berlin

Today’s blog post is an exciting one. I’ve been so eager to share my experience at the 25hours Bikini Berlin Hotel from last month. The 25hours Hotel, which is located on the West side of Berlin has got to be one of my favourite hotel stays. A pretty big statement, huh? The whole hotel has got an Urban Jungle theme going on complete with a Monkey Bar and located right next to Berlin’s Zoo! Everything about the hotel was just cool. Even the elevator ride up to the lobby emersed us in darkness as a futuristic show played all around us.…

Five European Cities I’d love to Explore

At the moment, I’m currently planning my next trip which I’ll be heading off to Holland at the end of May. I’ve probably mentioned it before but the annual travel blogging conference, Traverse is taking place in Rotterdam this year. I decided to do a little bit of travelling before and after the conference. I’ll be visiting Amsterdam, Rotterdam before heading down to visit my friend in Zurich. As always, I get a little carried away with myself when it comes to travel plans and I’ve also been thinking about ticking off some other European cities before coming home. These…

Travel Diary: 72 hours in Berlin – Part Two

Welcome back to Part Two of my Berlin Travel Diary – You can read Part One here if you haven’t already. Day Two in the city started with a quick Starbucks as we headed back to the Brandenburg Gate for some more photos. We then caught the U-Bahn to Checkpoint Charlie. Although it’s not the original border house (you can view that in the museum), the original site has a replica. Checkpoint Charlie was the crossing point between East and West Berlin and just around the corner is an original piece of the Berlin Wall. It’s pretty surreal to see…
