Summer Beauty Trends for Festivals

Festival season has kicked off and with Glastonbury and many more just around the corner, I’m looking at my favourite beauty trends for this Summer. A couple of weeks ago, I went to Radio 1’s Big Weekend and I went all out with the glitter. Festivals are a great place to experiment with beauty and create looks you wouldn’t usually wear on a daily basis. I do, however, wish you could get away with wearing glitter everywhere. www.ellisons.co.uk recently got in touch with me to go over my favourite Music Festival Trends for this Summer. Glitter, Glitter & more Glitter… We…

Father’s Day Scents with Fragrance Direct

With Father’s Day just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about the perfect present for the man in your life. Whether it’s your Dad, Grandpa, Uncle or Partner, you know the one thing that will go down a treat; a brand new scent! This weekend will be a busy one as it’s not only Father’s Day on Sunday but it’s my Dad’s Birthday on Saturday. Spring Scents: Marc Jacobs, Dot Fragrance

When it comes to fragrance the one brand I always go to is Marc Jacobs. With Lola been my all time favourite signature fragrance, I am always keen to try other scents from the brand. Fragrance Direct recently got in touch about their Spring Scents campaign and sent over Marc Jacobs Dot* which I was so excited to try. Other scents perfect for Spring include Gucci Bamboo (which is a current favourite of mine), Stella POP and Jimmy Choo Blossom. As always with Marc Jacobs fragrances, the bottle is absolutely stunning and is almost like a little ladybug. They always…

Tips for Maintaining Long Hair

The one thing that I get the most comments about is my hair. I must admit, it’s rather long. I’m always getting asked how I maintain it so well and how I keep it so healthy. Unfortunately, I don’t have a secret recipe of products under my belt. In fact, I hardly use any products on my hair. Apart from heat defence spray when I curl it with my Mark Hill tongs. Although I don’t have any big secrets, I thought I’d share some of tips on how I manage my long hair. Tangle Teezer aka Gamechanger First things first,…

March Beauty Favourites

I’ve been struggling the past couple of weeks with writer’s block. It also doesn’t help that I’ve been rather busy with a few events and this weekend I went to see Craig David. I thought doing a march beauty favourites post would help me get back in the swing of things. It’s been quite a while since my last favourites and there have been a few new additions to my make up bag which I have been loving. L.A. Girl Long-wear illuminating Foundation It’s quite rare that I try out new foundations as I usually stick to what I know.…

Spring Beauty Wishlist

It seems that my favourite thing to do whilst on a spending ban is create a fashion or beauty wishlist or three and go window shopping. I’m currently saving up for my big trip at the end of the year so my spending is pretty minimal. That certainly hasn’t stopped me from looking. Recently, there has been a few new make-up releases that have caught my eye. I still haven’t caved and bought the L’oreal Beauty and the Beast lipsticks which are available from the Italian Amazon website. I’m waiting for the Rose one to come back into stock. It’s…
