Channelling Rosie Huntington-Whiteley with Beauty Base

When thinking about who would be my main beauty inspiration, I’d have to say it would be someone like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. She’s just insanely beautiful, her make-up is always on point with a gorgeous dewy complexion. Beauty Base recently challenged me to create a look inspired by someone so I chose RHW! Beauty Base is an online store which carries many brands such as LA Girl, Real Techniques, Milani and high street favourites such as Rimmel and Bourjois. I decided to go for a look all by the brand Milani. I’ve not used anything from Milani but I’ve heard beauty bloggers…

Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder Review

Over the last year or so, I’ve been on a mission for finding the best affordable setting powder. My Laura Mercier Setting Powder is currently my favourite but the price tag of £32 is slightly off-putting. I asked around for a few recommendations and did some research on Google and one that popped up a few times was the Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder*. I decided to give it a go and found it on Notino.co.uk and at £15 it’s half the price of my beloved Laura Mercier setting powder. The Vichy Dermablend Translucent Setting Powder comes with a little sponge but…

Christmas Gift Guide 2018: For Beauty Lovers

It’s time! December is upon us and I’m finally posting my first Christmas Gift Guide of the year. Of course, I’m starting with beauty. Usually my Christmas wish list is ever growing with the latest releases, sparkliest palettes and luxury treats. Although I’m personally on a huge make-up ban where I’m really trying to use up everything I already have, that doesn’t mean I can’t treat my nearest and dearest and maybe sneak a few items into my collection! Christmas beauty releases are always my favourite. There’s always the prettiest of packaging and sparkliest of products. What’s not to love?…
