Welcome back to my blog, it’s been a couple of weeks, hasn’t it? I’ve been taking some time off as I went on holiday to Greece and of course, I’ll be blogging about it. In my absence, I’ve been sent so many different new skincare products and it’s been amazing to try out some new items. Some of which are now permanent fixtures in my skincare routine. I was recently sent across the brand new Garnier Bio Range which launched earlier this year and is available on Notino.co.uk. The new Bio Organic plant-based range is taking steps to give back to nature by using 96% natural. I love that this range is helping out the environment and is still affordable.
I thought I’d share with you my first impressions of six of the new products in the organic range. The products are infused with different scents such as lavender, lemongrass and thyme. Recently, I’ve become more interested in my skincare routine and conscious about what’s going on my face. I think I’m going to end up doing a full skincare routine or a favourites blog post as I’ve found some real gems, including some from the Garnier BIO Range.
First up, we have the Purifying Gel Wash which is a cleansing oil which is infused with a Lemongrass essential oil. I’m not overly keen on the scent of this product as it’s quite strong but it’s quite an impressive cleanser for removing make-up and really freshening the skin. You might have caught Caroline Hirons on This Morning a couple of weeks ago and I’ve implemented one of her tips from the segment of buying seven or eight face cloths for every day of each week so you never run out of them and always have a fresh cloth. This Gel cleanser is aimed at normal to combination which is what I would describe my skin as and I’ve found that it works really well with my skin.
Secondly, there is the Thyme Perfecting Toner. I’m going to be totally honest and admit that I never used a toner up until about 10 months ago. Now, it’s such a key part of my skincare routine. As I do suffer from some slight redness on my face, this really soothes my skin and leaves it feeling fresh and prepared for further steps in my routine.
I was actually sent three different moisturisers to try out from the Garnier BIO range. We’ve got the Argan Nourishing Moisturiser, Lavandin Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream and the Lemongrass Balancing Moisturiser.
As this really is my first impressions, I’ve not been able to try these three as much as I would have liked to. So far, I have liked what I have tried. Out of all three, the Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream has a very rich and creamy consistency. A little definitely goes a long way with this cream and it’s said to help with wrinkle lines. My favourite has got to be the Argan Nourishing Moisturiser, I think it personally really works with my skin and gives me a hydration boost and it smells lovely! The Nourishing and Balancing Moisturisers are both under £5 which is an amazing price point!
Finally and probably my most loved item of the lot is the Lavender Smooth & Glow Facial Oil. Now I love a good Facial Oil and this one doesn’t disappoint as I was really impressed with the formula. With some Facial Oils they can tend to be super greasy but this absorbs into the skin quickly and leaves you with a lovely glow whilst hydrating the skin. This oil has got such a lovely scent and is also enriched with Organic Argan Oil and Vitamin E. This product is priced at £8.40 on the Notino website, which again, is an amazing price for great organic skincare.
Overall, I’ve been impressed with the collection and will be continuing using these products. If you are looking for some new organic skincare with natural products, I couldn’t recommend the Garnier BIO range enough. Not only are the prices super affordable but the products are really worth trying out. The Facial Oil and Purifying Gel Wash are both items that really stood out to me!
Have you seen this Garnier BIO range before? Do you use organic skincare?
