My favourite kind of posts to do on my blog is little gift guides. I’ve never really done one for what to buy for a Christening. There are so many adorable gifts out there to commemorate the day. There are especially some super cute Disney items which I’m completely sold on. These days when you can get everything personalised. They can make for a really unique keepsake to keep and cherish for years.
Christenings can take a lot to plan but there are some lovely items in Card Factory from invitations to greetings cards if you are a guest. I love that you can even get your cards personalised on their website which is just a lovely touch. When it comes to buying a gift, there are some really lovely items to suit all budgets. If you’re wanting to go down a traditional route, potentially pick up some silverware items or even a classic teddy bear from Steiff. I’ve put together some of my favourite items which I’ve found online and I think they would just make a gorgeous gift.
Rose Gold Brush and Comb // Winnie the Pooh Memory Book // Tiffany & Co X Steiff Teddy Bear // Once Upon A Time Musical Box // Winnie the Pooh Rattle // Molly Brown Silver Bangle // Mothercare Dream Big Money Box // Mary Poppins Dress and Cardigan Set // The World of Peter Rabbit Full Collection // Ethel & Co Personalised Plate
Of course, the first thing I came across was on the Tiffany & Co website. Granted this is at the top end of the budget scale but how special is this Tiffany X Steiff bear? It’s certainly an adorable gift that will be cherished and most likely passed down the generations. I just can’t get over how cute it is! Moving on to another bear; Winnie the Pooh! John Lewis has a lovely selection of gifts for little ones following the release of the movie Christopher Robin.
I’ve also included a few silver items which are seen more of a traditional gift. Although, Mamas and Papas have just introduced a Rose Gold range which would be perfect if you’re celebrating the Christening of a little girl. I think gifting little items of jewellery is lovely as they can keep for when they are older and it’ll be quite a sentimental gift.
Are you going to a Christening this year?
