With all the chilly weather we are having it’s more important than ever that we take care of our skin. It’s also the perfect excuse for having a cosy pamper night in with a few face masks. I’ve been using quite the range of face masks recently and thought I’d break down four which I have rather enjoyed using from Notino.co.uk.
Glam Glow PowerMud Mask
Starting off with the best of the best. The Glam Glow Power Mud Mask*. I’ve wanted to try a Glam Glow mask for the longest time and I finally got my hands on this mud to oil treatment. After a bit of research online seeing which one sounded best for me, the Power Mud treatment promised to leave the skin cleansed, nourished and renewed. I’ve used this a couple of times now and it’s left my skin feeling incredible. It’s really vigorously cleansed my faced but left it hydrated, firm and so smooth afterwards! The price point for the Glam Glow masks is around £42 but I can now see why they are worth it. You can also get a fair few uses out of these pots as a little goes a long way! I really want to try one of the glitter ones next as they look amazing!
Glam Glow Bubble Sheet Mask
Another product from Glam Glow which is quite funny as I hadn’t tried anything until recently. I’m sure you’ll have all seen the bubble masks you can buy on the market which make you look quite unusual. The masks expand the longer you leave them on your face and bubble up to leave a foamy texture. Glam Glow have their own Bubble Sheet Mask* which is a single use mask for £8 and I’ve got to say, I really like this one. Although I feel like an alien when it’s on my face, it doesn’t half leave your face looking bright and refreshed.
I must admit £8 is on the higher price spectrum for a single use face mask but I save this one for special occasions. You know the night before a big event or party and my skin can look on point the next day. Definitely one to keep treating myself to every now and again. I think it’s probably best I don’t share an image of what I look like when the mask is at full force but maybe one day over on my Instagram Stories!
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Overnight Moisturising Mask
I’ve spoken about this one before in a First Impressions but I’ve still been using this over the last two months or so. The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Overnight Mask* is a great product if you’re looking to really boost your skins hydration. You really wouldn’t have guessed it from the name, right? I put a thin layer of the cream on before bed and leave it for around 10-15 minutes before moisturising it into the skin. When i wake up the next morning, my skin is always unbelievably hydrated and feeling pretty refreshed.
Korika Star Beauty Hydrogel Sheet Mask
Korika is a Korean beauty brand which I recently discovered on Notino.co.uk. I’ve now tried a selection of their sheet masks which specialise in different areas of improving your skin. There’s also even ones for your hands, feet and lips! Judging by the ones I’ve tried already, my favourite is definitely Star Beauty Hydrogel Sheet Mask. This sheet mask actually has snail extract in which I’m not too sure how I feel about that but it left my skin feeling ever so lovely.
I wonder how many times I’ve said that I felt hydrated or refreshed in this blogpost?! That’s what having a pamper night and a few face masks is all about though. Have you used any of these masks? Are you a fan of Glam Glow masks?
