Last week, I received my first Latest In Beauty Box. I’ve not actually tried too many different subscription boxes but Latest in Beauty lets you choose what goes in the box making it more curated to your own personal taste. On their website is also a selection of beauty boxes created by different magazines such as Grazia, Eve and Fabulous. The box which arrived on my doorstep was the Beauty Guru box* where I could choose nine items for a one-off payment of £25 or £18 if you are a monthly subscriber. So what was in my Latest in Beauty box?
Lee Stafford Dry Shampoo
You can never beat having Dry Shampoo in your life. In my Latest in Beauty Box, I actually got a full sized Lee Stafford Dry Shampoo. I’m pretty impressed that it was a full sized one and it’s actually a really decent product. I’ve found that it’s a great dry shampoo which also gives really good volume to the hair. However, I would prefer a different scent, I think I’m too used to buying dry shampoo’s with fruity scents.
Crabtree & Evelyn Venetian Violet Hand Cream
Violet is probably one of my favourite scents ever. I’m all about Violet, has anyone tried Palma Violet Gin yet? It’s the best! So when I saw that there was a Crabtree & Evelyn Venetian Violet Hand Cream, I knew I had to have it! I love Crabtree & Evelyn hand creams, the only problem is that I really want to buy the full size one and I’ve found out that it’s limited edition and no longer for sale. I’ve got everything crossed that they bring it back at some point.
St.Tropez In-Shower Gradual Tan
I’m yet to try the St.Tropez In-Shower Gradual Tan but I am desperate for a tan so I’ll be testing it out very soon. I’ve heard mixed reviews about this product so it’ll be interesting to see what I think about it. This came in 50ml travel sized bottle so I’ll be able to get at least one use out of this tester.
Sanctuary Foaming Cleanser
There was quite a few Sanctuary products available to choose from on the Latest in Beauty website and a few items caught my eye. The first item was the Foaming Cleanser which I’ve not tried before and thought this would be a good opportunity. The travel sized item is a micellar cleansing water which foams which sounded really interesting. I’ve used it once and found it a great product to remove make-up with ease and I’ll definitely look into re-purchasing this one in a full size bottle.
Sanctuary Rose Sheet Mask
I do love a good sheet mask and this Sanctuary Rose one was calling my name. I love anything with a rose scent, almost as much as Violet! Rose is known for soothing and calming the skin and this mask claims to be super hydrating. I’m yet to try this sheet mask though, so I’ll give you an update on this on my Insta Stories soon.
CYO Eyeliner
CYO is a brand which I’ve seen in Boots but I’ve not tried anything yet. When it comes to liquid eyeliners, I only really use the Kat Von D Tattoo Eyeliner and I’ve recently started using the Clinique one. I thought this would be a good chance to try a new Eyeliner and also something from CYO. I’ve got to say this a pretty great drugstore product. I found it easy to apply and it lasts really well on the eyes without smudging.
Lancaster Suncream
You might have seen my Holiday Beauty Must Haves but I included the Lancaster Suncream Spray so decided to try out the Velvet Touch Cream. I know Lancaster is quite an expensive brand, but I was expecting a tester a little bit bigger. It would be a good product to take away on a short city break if the weather is lovely but I think you’d only get one use out of these!
Bioré Deep Cleansing Pore Strips
I’m a big fan of the Bioré Deep CleansingPore Strips, they are usually priced around £4.99 (in TK:Maxx) so I thought it would be a good time to add this to my Latest in Beauty Box. On the website, you have the option for the leopard or zebra print strips, I went for zebra! They are a great product to cleanse the pores on your nose. It only takes 10 minutes and I tend to do them once or twice a week.
Glitter Eyes Pressed Pigment
Finally, I thought I’d choose something a little bit fun and out there. I picked up the Glitter Eyes Pressed Pigment in a gorgeous aqua blue shade. These would be amazing for doing a festival look or holiday make-up. I’m yet to use this yet but it’s absolutely lovely colour!
I’m actually really impressed with my first Latest in Beauty Box. I really liked that you could choose exactly what you wanted therefore you weren’t getting unwanted samples. It’s also a good opportunity to try out some new products and also I wast impressed that some of the products were full size. There was so much to choose from on the website from OPI Nail polish to Aussie Haircare!
Have you tried a Latest in Beauty Box? Have you tried any of these products?
XOXO

Looks like a great selection. I like the idea that you can choose what goes into the box as one of the main things that puts me off beauty box subscriptions is that I’d end up with a load of products that I’d get no use out of. The sheet mask sounds lovely, would love to give that a try 🙂 xx
