When it comes to applying make-up the base, in my opinion, is the most important. I’m always hunting down for a good primer, foundation and concealer. The three face products that I’m currently using and loving at the moment are all new additions to my makeup collection. I’ve been testing them out of the last month or so and I’ve been super impressed.
L’Oreal Infaillible Anti-Redness Primer
First up, is the L’oreal Infaillible Anti-Redness Primer* which is actually a green product. I do have quite red skin so this product is pretty amazing so counteract this. The green dulls down the redness of the skin and leaves it with a smooth base for the foundation. I usually use my fingers to apply this and I’ve got to admit it’s a pretty messy product it’s quite a runny consistency. I’d just say be super careful with the application but the product itself is very effective.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
I’ve spoken about the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation* quite a lot on my blog. I’ve got a full review here if you’re interested but spoiler alert; it’s pretty damn good. The Double Wear Foundation certainly lives up to all the hype surrounding the product. It gives a medium to high coverage of the skin and is very long lasting.
Make-Up Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer
I’ve wanted to try the Conceal & Define Concealer for such a long time but it’s been sold out and so hard to track down. They stock plenty of Make-Up Revolution products on Notino.co.uk and I finally found it in-stock in my shade of C2. I’ve heard a lot of hype surrounding this, especially saying that it’s a brilliant dupe for the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer. I’d say this isn’t the best concealer I’ve ever used but it’s got a great coverage. It’s a great product for concealing the under eyes.
Make-Up Revolution also has 20% off at the moment on Notino.co.uk as part of their Summer Black Friday makeup discounts which start on the 9th July until the 15th. There’s a whole host of other discounts from perfume to big brands such as Bourjois, Estee Lauder and YSL.
Have you tried any of these face products before?
