The school holidays have officially started, can you believe that it’s come around so quickly?! If you are like me and haven’t booked your Summer holiday yet then look no further. I’ve teamed up with Eurocamp who are the UK’s leading European Camping specialists for outdoor holidays. They have over 190 locations across Europe in some pretty stunning locations. I’m going to be honest, camping isn’t really my thing but Eurocamp isn’t your traditional camping company. There are plenty of options from wooden lodges to bungalows and in some pretty incredible locations.
So if you’re looking for a last minute family fun-filled break this Summer or even planning ahead for next year, I’ve picked out five Eurocamp destinations you are going to want to consider.
The Cambrils Park located on Costa Dorada in Spain is not only in a perfect location to explore the beach, it’s not too far away from one of my favourite theme parks; PortAventura World. This parc actually is a best seller for Eurocamp as it has something for everyone with its first class facilities and on-site kid’s club! This parc also caught my eye because of its very fun swimming pool which has its own resident elephants and dragons. Okay, so they aren’t real but they look pretty cool!
I’ve recently just returned from a short trip to Switzerland but unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to visit Interlaken but it was actually on my list. Interlaken is an insanely beautiful part of Switzerland immersed in the Swiss Alps with incredible picture perfect views. On the edge of Lake Thun is Eurocamp’s Manor Farm Campsite which is in a great location to explore all the nearby picturesque towns and villages.
There are plenty of Eurocamp site’s located near Brittany, France but Raguenes-Plage Campsite is right on the beach front making it an ideal location. Like all of the Eurocamp destinations, there is a variety of accommodation choices from luxury cabins to bringing your own equipment.
One of Eurocamp’s latest parcs is Saint Louis which is just minutes from the famous beaches of Cannes along the French Riviera. Not only is this a great location to explore the South of France which is all very accessible by car and train, there are plenty of on-site facilities to provide tons of fun for all the family. The Saint Louis Campsite has a big Splash Parc with lots of different slides and a big tropical lagoon.
Peschiera, Italian Lakes
Finally, we’ve got Bella Italia campsite and it’s in an incredible location. Based on the South Eastern tip of Lake Garda and within distance to make day trips to Milan, Verona and Venice! I think this could be one of my favourites just because it’s a great site to explore Italy and go sightseeing. The parc has direct access to the lakeside beach and also a stunning restaurant with beautiful lake views! Because it’s so good it’s one of Eurocamp’s fastest selling parcs so you’ll want to start booking for next year now.
The list certainly could go on as there are plenty of Eurocamp parcs offering incredible facilities and great locations for sightseeing and exploring. It’s a great affordable way of visiting different European countries and you’ll never be bored with all the fun activities going on!
