I can’t believe how quickly this year is flying by! We’re now heading into Summer and I can’t wait. It’s the time for lots of BBQ’s, garden parties and hopefully lot’s of sunshine. Although our garden is quite small, there is still plenty of room for cosy outdoor furniture, little decorations and lots of fairy lights. The garden is actually half grass and half a yard which we have thought about adding artificial turf so there’s more room for activities.
Every time I go to places like Homsense and Matalan, I keep finding the most amazing outdoor items that I need to get for the garden. I thought I’d do a little outdoor wishlist with a few items that are currently on my radar.
I think you’ll all know by now my love for anything palm tree, flamingo, lemon and pineapple print. I’m that girl. Palm print is definitely my vibe. Not only do a need every item of clothing with that leafy print on, the homeware items are calling my name too. You can either have something subtle like these grey and gold cushions or something a little more full on like this bright set. If you’re entertaining guests, there’s so many plastic printed plates and glasses that would be perfect for a garden party or BBQ. Asda have a full tropical printed 16-piece set for £20!
I’m also seriously loving this lemon hand painted plant pot. Could you imagine the cutest little lemon tree in it? They are available in several different sizes in TK:Maxx and will bring those Italian vibes to your back garden. We do have a few outdoor chairs and a bench for the garden but every garden needs it very own deck chair. As I’m all about the stylish prints, I love the rippled water deck chair – I can definitely see myself catching some rays in the garden sat on that!
The ultimate dream would be to get a swimming pool but let’s be honest, they would be a pain to maintain and my garden really wouldn’t be big enough. A girl can dream eh? I’ve seen some great inflatable pools on Studio.co.uk – You can get a 10-foot pool for under £30! I’m pretty sure it would take up the whole of my garden but I couldn’t think of a better way to spend a Summer’s afternoon.
Do you decorate your garden? What’s on your wishlists at the moment?
