If you’ve been following me on social media, you might have caught my very exciting news this week. I am now a Brand Ambassador for Studio.co.uk and I’ll be collaborating with the brand over the next couple of months. I’m really looking forward to creating some great content with them! On Tuesday, I actually visited their Studios and met the Studio.co.uk team and the other ambassadors. It was a pretty amazing day, we got to learn lot’s about the brand, meet the buyers and go behind the scenes of photoshoots. I thought I’d share some photos from the day and give you some more information on the whole collaboration.
The day started at Stanley House Hotel & Spa where I met all the other lovely Ambassadors for a spot of breakfast. Stanley House Hotel which is near a place called Mellor in Lancashire was a seriously beautiful place, it’s now made its way onto my list of places I’d love to stay! I wish I’d taken more photos of the grounds as it was seriously Instagram worthy.
If you’re not too familiar with Studio.co.uk, they are a discount catalogue and online company which sells anything from clothing, furniture, electricals and children’s toys. You may have seen their catalogues and they are pretty well known for their Christmas collections. Although I was pretty familiar with Studio.co.uk and had previously ordered from their famous catalogues, I didn’t know too much about the background of the company. The origins of the company go way back to 1952 when two family businesses merged and ten years later they developed their very first catalogue. Studio.co.uk as we know it actually formed in 1992 when they opened a huge warehouse in Accrington, where the company is based today.
After a brand presentation and playing a few games, we headed to The Time Studios in Accrington which is where all of the content is created for Studio.co.uk online, on social media and in the catalogues. Over half a million shoots take place throughout the year, how insane is that?! There was so much going on at the studios, photoshoots taking place left, right and centre. It was so much fun to go behind the scenes and see everyone working on different projects. There was already a lot going on for the Christmas catalogue with trees, wrapping paper and gifts everywhere.
The team had put together the cutest rail together full of clothes for each ambassador along with a personalised balloon. Studio.co.uk have got the whole personalisation thing nailed. From dressing gowns, notebooks, mugs and much more is available on the website and personalisation is free! I was so excited to see what the stylists had put together and Alice & I tried them all on for a little shoot. After all, the set that had been put together for us was truly perfect for some Instagram shots! The stylists had got my style spot on with Flamingo print PJ’s and a tropical off the shoulder dress!
A massive thank you to Studio.co.uk for having me. I had such an amazing day and it was a brilliant chance to get to know the company more and have some fun! The day also gave us an opportunity to see lot’s of different products and what’s coming soon. We could see that although the prices are so affordable, the quality of everything is great. That’s something that was really important to me. I’m really looking forward to working with them over the next couple of months. Keep your eyes peeled for lot’s of exciting content coming your way.
Have you shopped with Studio.co.uk before?
